Who did you mean? Because Magic should be considered more of a point forward for fairness sake to the other guys.

And Michael Jordan was not an average shooter, his midrange game was outstanding to say the least, he had some NASTY fade aways, a perfect step-back.
Lebron James is a 6'8 matchup nightmare with a solid midrange game and a continuously growing post game. He also has the ability to shoot from the 3 reliably. plus MKG will never be the athletic matchup problem that Lebron is....

So wait, you don't need to be a great shooter then?

Glad you agree

Simmons is basically saying the same thing. He loved Morrison and he loves the fact that we didn't screw up our 2nd pick, claims that MKG will be the second best player out of this draft.

This stuff scares me. Yes, it's a bad thing.

Would you draft Thabo Sefolosha second overall? If the Oklahoma City Thunder’s stopper was 19, I would’ve. He’s 28 now, an accomplished defender who can hit an open 3-point shot. I see Kidd-Gilchrist in the same mold.

lol

Well, I suppose Lakers fans can't have high expectations for draft picks since the Lakers rarely need to draft their talent in the first place.

What they hell made them think would accept either Gasol or Williams for our second pick? Oh wait it was a Laker article. Explains everything. :noway:

I think what they meant is that we would accept Williams for second pick. Wolves would then flip Gilchrist in return for Gasol.

They make it sound like it was so close, when the Williams trade may have been discussed for 10 seconds.

Either way, that would be a very bad trade for us.

Yeah. Bad would be an understatement.

rewatching some of MKG's games from this season at UK. comparisons to crash kind of go half the way there. he's more guard-y than wallace ever was, due to his extreme quickness laterally. however it seems like he's playing in his socks all the time because he's constantly slipping and falling down. maybe socks would be a decent nickname for him, actually, due to the way he moves around the court.

there is a name change request thread on the feedback and suggestions board. thats where you want to post your request. it has to be approved by realgm, not us board mods.

We don't know how either Williams or MKG are going to pan out at this point, that statement is a tad ignorant.

So no one should try to weigh the value of players until they retire? That's a tad ignorant.

They tried to flip Williams on the Warriors for their pick and were even turned down then. Isn't ignorant at all. Williams' value has plummeted drastically.

Also, his contract ends a year earlier, he's also older, etc.
