Don't know the reliability of that website, but we are linked to him by others as well. I would be fine with Mayo/Lee if the price is right. 6 to 7 mil for 2 or 3 years.

Mayo deserves less than Batum..Significantly less, and I think Batum's deal is overpaying.

No legit source has linked us to mayo in years. If we wanted him we would already have him.

The source is a joke, but Mayo is probably on the teams Christmas List.

I'd like Mayo but I highly doubt there aren't any teams that wont give him more than "little bit more than the minimum". Seriously, no way in hell does Mayo take something close to the minimum. WTF is this guy thinking.

At the price we are paying, I don't know if I want Batum. Lee, he's cool.

My only problem with Lee (or Mayo) is that leaves us with like 5 SGs and 1 SF.

OJ Mayo discussions are certainly expected ... If no Batum, I'm not sure what direction I would go due the fact we have agreements with 2 SG's already.

Yeah, that's what I don't get about all the SG talk. I know they will say "wings are wings in Adelman's system," but what about defense?

Everyone calm down

So what do the Wolves do now when the Blazers match the Batum offer sheet?
Taylor said the first priority isn't necessarily a wing playe but  "We've got to get some big guys."
They've been pursuing Boston restricted free-agent center Greg Stiemsma and Lakers power forward Jordan Hill and it now looks like those bigs will be the priority over a wing.
As for those wings, their best options are, in this order:
1. Courtney Lee
2. O.J. Mayo
3. Andre Iguodala

Mayo can't defend point guards, he certainly can't defend any wings. He has said as much himself...

Yup, this team needs defense. That's why Batum and Iggy should be the targets.

Please no Mayo.

I was wondering what was going on with our bigs. I would like to see Tolliver back at the vet minimum. But if we trade Williams we're going to be pretty thin.
