Yeh I would think they would ask for him in the trade if they are getting rid of BBD. Remember....Houston was basically willing to give us all their draft picks before the draft weren't they? Also, we still have Earl as part of the lineup.

Right....I'm not 100% sure if it's correct but I know for a fact I read somewhere that amnestied contracts could count towards the cap "floor" of 90%.

kk, I stand corrected, that's an even greater maneuver for us then. I could see it meaning only the first season of the amnesty but it could just as well be for the life of the deal.

I agree. To be honest, I don't really see Houston holding out all that much in negotiations....I think we def have the pick of the litter of what they have. They will stop at nothing to get Dwight it seems.

martin is most likely going to be flipped for a pick or a young player. but year this is a 20 win team max. we're guarenteed a top 5 pick.

I think Brooks will sign there. They will have plenty of space for him and C. Lee and another if desired.
