I wonder how the mentally weak Howard would act if it was him.

We couldn't trade him and at least get something. Post players like Scola aren't exactly easy to find in the NBA.

Honestly I don't like any of the dwight howard deals proposed... I'd rather of kept Scola and waited for a decent draft pick... If we do deal for dwight and he leaves, we're gonna be set back for years to come after he does.

He was a true professional in his time with Houston. I enjoyed watching him in a Rockets jersey. I wish him luck wherever he goes.

Well looks like he will be joining Dragic in PHX. Seems like a good fit and phx trainers would definitely help luis at his old age :D

Glad he's going to a good organization.

I know he doesn't count towards our cap since we amnestied him but this means Suns will pay part of his original contract correct?

Yes, they will pay part of this. For example, Brand got a 2.1M offer from the Mavericks, so Sixers will only pay the rest of his amnestied contract.

Haven't commented yet because I kind of didn't want it to be true.

But real is real, and Scola is really gone.

I'm glad that he's going to a good situation in Phoenix. They are better today than they were yesterday.

Hate to see Coca Scola gone. He was one of the hardest workers to wear a Rockets uniform. I'll miss what he brings to the court. But with the state of the roster and our teams inability to make the post season tells me it was a good move for both parties.

I hope he does well in Pheonix. So we have to pay the rest of his salary for this season but it doesn't count against the cap?

Suns will pay some of it. But yeah it doesn't count against the cap.
