I'm not saying that. Remember when teams like Cleveland and Phoenix were trying to run with Shaq and he was basically ineffectual b/c 4/5 guys were built to run and 1 was limited to half-court only? Kind of like that.

I guess so. Most plays he might as well stay home because it'll be over before he gets up the floor, you mean?

I do get what you are saying, but at the same time, I am totally on board with MKG14. As much as we might want to run all the time that wont always be possible and there will be times when we will need to play in the half court and being able to dump it down to someone and clear out would be huge for us.

And again, it's more for the benefit he would bring during practice that I really want him.

Plus I am a sucker for a big with snazzy post moves.

Yeah. I really don't know though, I could be wrong. He's got some age on him but he did spend a great deal of his career playing in Europe which tends to be more up-tempo so he may be able to handle it. He would be an awesome mentor to Biz though.

UPDATE via ESPN's Marc Stein: Brendan Haywood has been claimed by the Bobcats, and Darko Milicic has cleared waivers, making him an unrestricted free agent.

This might mean we aren't going after any power forwards, because we have 4 guys who can play that spot anyway
