The Lakers, Magic and Cavaliers have discussed a three-team deal that would send Dwight Howard to Los Angeles, according to sources.

The Cavs could be a great trading partner in a 3-way deal... the Cavs have many expiring contracts and draft picks... I could see Bynum heading to the Cavs with expiring contracts, drafts picks, Thompson, and Varejao heading to the Magic... maybe either Zellers or Waiters going to the Magic as well.

Maybe it is the Houston's role to get Bynum and sending out the picks to Orlando is being replaced by the Cavs? Bynum named the Cavs of of his teams on his list. Just saying.

It also could be the leverage thing and we all know that the Lakers always are being used for the leverage power with so many trade talks. It is to get more out of Houston, possibly.

It's hard to tell which team is the frontrunner to acquire Dwight Howard: Houston or Los Angeles. Orlando is weighing all of their options.
I like our chances better, but prepared to be disappointed with awareness that we still have Bynum. For Houston, it is "do or die" desperation move.

Yannis Koutroupis: We all know how Dan Gilbert felt about the Lakers potentially getting Howard in December, but if he can get Bynum? Gotta do that.

Houston also doesn't need to do a 3 way deal thanks to letting Scola go. If Orlando just care about shedding salary & picks, Houston is still the favorites.

Re: Howard Thread Pt. III
Lakers is so brilliant about it if the rumors are legit because Houston refused to go with the three teams trade so they went, "ok, you asked for it." Here we go, three teams trade with the Cavs.

If Im reading that clearly.. The Cavs get Bynum for Luke Walton, Daniel Gibson, and for taking on bad contracts? I would be smiling from ear to ear over here in Ohio.
I like the way you think.

Three-team deal may send Dwight Howard to Lakers, Andrew Bynum to Cavs and picks/prospects/cap relief to Magic. Still trying to get details.

The first one to break Orlando talking to Brooklyn news, as well as Brooklyn's attempt at a 3 way deal.

Just remember this, the Cavs have a lot first rounder picks stocked up at about 7 picks I think. They are legit threat to the favorite, Houston. If the rumored talks are materialized.

Glad you liked it. Was trying to see how Cleveland could take on more like Turk's contract, but that was getting near impossible. I don't think neither Lakers nor Magic want Varejao. Of course, Cleveland has to send out draft picks to Orlando.
