Lin is so overhyped, Felton is by far the better player, Lin isn't going to be a star, at best a nice back-up PG.

kosmovitelli told me that it is possible but all three parties have to consent (Lin, Rockets, and the Knicks).

Woodson already declared Lin the starting point guard. There is no way they aren't keeping him.

he already signed the contract with the rockets. he couldn't care less if the knicks matched or not he's still going to get his $15M in year 3 of his contract.

And dont forget Yao Ming's (hidden hand) there!!

during an interview he said he speaks to Yao after every game.

No one believes that Lin is more overrated than ME

However, Felton over Lin is just a bad bad decision...

Im very unhappy with this rumour; but i'll be even more upset if its true that Lin prefers Hou over NY; Yao Ming over Carmelo Anthony; Texas over Mecca; greed over loyalty!!

This is what I was thinking. KNicks are already low on options for SG, maybe they are just going to try Felon at SG??

Lin is better than Felton, in my opinion. But neither one guarantees a championship. There are a lot of unknowns about Lin while it's known that Felton is good/consistent IF in shape and focused. Then figure in that Felton could cost several millions less than Lin and you might have what the Knicks are thinking about.

If Felton gets in shape and leaves his chucking at home, why not?

Lin was exposed by Miami and teams that played him physically. Also coming off a knee injury and questions about his effectiveness in a non- D'Antoni system. He can't really defend 2's and his jumper is questionable to pair him with Kidd in the backcourt.

What is true is Felton has always been on the radar as a Plan B for both Nash/Kidd but also Lin. Still don’t see Knicks letting Lin go.
