@MySportsLegion: Lakers are willing to take back Jason Richardson in trade, while Cleveland would receive Bynum & Hedo or Duhon/Big Baby.

Do you honestly think Orlando and D12 want this Dwightmare to drag on till September? I very highly doubt it. Howard might not get traded this week but I believe he'll be traded sometime this month.

Just speaking on how insane the trade rumors are with Howard and the neverending unpredictably turns that would rival the soap opera on the daytime television.

My bet would be on Andrew Bynum, Big Baby, and Chris Duhon.

of course not, but looking at how indecisive the magic FO are as well, they might try to hold onto dwight until january just to try to get a better deal.

its like every year they sack the GM and the new GM tries to get dwight to re-sign all over ahead and pleads for "time" to make it work

Knicks close to obtaining point guard Raymond Felton in sign and trade with Blazers, source tells Y! Sports.

Frank Isola ‏@FisolaNYDN

TV reporter in South Carolina has Felton saying Knicks deal with Lin is off.

that would change things a bit for the rockets. jeremy lin in, a little capspace out

They could still pull off a Howard trade, but they may not be able to take all of Orlando's bad contracts off the books. Year one of Lin's contract is around the $5 mil echelon, but when thinking long term it could drastically effect Houston. Lin in the third year of his contract is slated to receive $15 mil, Houston backloaded it in an effort to scare off the Knicks from matching.

Latest reports suggest Cavs want picks in deal for Andrew Bynum. "He IS the pick," said opposing team exec. But Cavs want safety net in event Bynum bails after a year. Makes sense. And why Bynum's stance on extension would be critical to entire process.

the cap hit will be 8mil each yr, someone on the GB reminded me of the rule. cap hit is the avg salary per yr, and he reportedly got like 24-25 mil.

8 mil of capspace gone for houston hurts them in their pursuit for howard. then if the bulls don't match asik....ouch.

Exactly what I feared, Dan Gilbert is a hard man to negotiate with

There's also talk that NY plans on matching on Monday, so I wouldn't pencil in a cap hit for Houston yet.

I get the feeling that Asik will not be matched because his contract is absurd, even though the Bulls needs him.

 Cleveland is ridiculous. I knew the Nets trade won't happen with Cavs being the third team, and I'm certain the same goes for this. Cleveland expects to get Andrew freaking Bynum and get picks too? This trade only works if they give up atleast 3 picks....and they str expecting picks?

I hope so, only because it gives us more leverage.
