Lin is better than Felton, in my opinion. But neither one guarantees a championship. There are a lot of unknowns about Lin while it's known that Felton is good/consistent IF in shape and focused. Then figure in that Felton could cost several millions less than Lin and you might have what the Knicks are thinking about.

No one believes that Lin is more overrated than ME

However, Felton over Lin is just a bad bad decision...

I know that in the Knicks family and also in the city of NY people usually have a short memory, but, FRAK, Felton played like an All Star for the Knicks for 4 months, he was great, he's a better PG than Lin, maybe Lin is a better scorer, but we don't really need that, Felton if he came in shape and motivated, can play D, pass the ball, hit open shots, and he has a true Knick personality.

And he'd be really cheap cause he had the worst season of his career in Portland, but he's still young, he pair perfectly fine with Melo and Stoudemire, and he has experience...

For me, no doubts at all, I'd choose Felton all over again.

It all comes down to what they think Lin's ceiling is. It's not certain while Felton is a known commodity. That's how I think they are looking at it.
