Lin is so overhyped, Felton is by far the better player, Lin isn't going to be a star, at best a nice back-up PG.

maybe years ago,

felton was flat out fat last year and trash.

This is what I was thinking. KNicks are already low on options for SG, maybe they are just going to try Felon at SG??

This argument would drink water only if we hadn't sign Prigioni!!

Now, with already 3 pure PG on the roster (and one youngster still to come from the Summer League) if we sign Felton that means, letting Lin walk... Personally I didnt like at all what Lin did; you can tell me all what you want that this is a market, this is about how you can get the most of $$$; but NOT... this thing called basketball, like in all sports has also the element of PRIDE, NOBILITY and LOYALTY... If Lin prefers Hou over NY, than means he hasnt any of those 3 virtues!!

Y'all take Dolan's generosity for granted though. Well most of you do.

Stop it. Please. James Dolan was, is and always will be one of the worst owners in sports. Logic does not work with this man.

He was fine with paying $120 million for Isiah's lottery teams, can't pay $100 million for one season 3 years from now for a way better team.

Spears is just speculating on Lin, the Felton thing doesn't (nor shouldn't) stop them from matching Lin.

Not matching Lin would be the single stupidest move this off-season (which is saying a lot looking at some of these contracts). Felton is a solid PG, but no way should he replace Lin. And our sign and trade options are limited to Gadzuirc (and maybe signing and trading Bibby who'd retire).

If it's true that we're talking to Felton again, it could make sense because he'll be super cheap... but you still retain Jeremy! Just get Felton and play Kidd only at SG, give Felton all the back up point minutes and maybe some time at SG too. It'd be a great cheap asset to get (and we could probably trade him when Shump gets back for something)

PG: Lin (33)- Felton (15)- Kidd- Prigioni
SG: Kidd (20)- Smith (20)- Felton (8)
SF: Melo (30)- Novak (10)- Smith (8)
PF: Amar'e(34)- Novak (6)- Melo (6)- Camby
C: Tyson (32)- Camby (16)- Jared(if re-signed)

That could definitely work. No way Dolan/Grunwald/Woodson could be dumb enough to let Lin go.

With JR stating he wants to play with only Kidd, Kidd saying he wants to be running the show in the last 6 mins to go in the game, and melo/STAT needing shots, where was Lin going to own this team?

Felton had an horrible season in a disaster team, but a year and a half ago he was playing like an All Star here at NY.
