Then trade Felton, again, at the deadline. :D

It's true and you know it. This kid has been overlooked his entire life because of his race.

Not playing the race card here. Seriously, stop.

Seriously, I'll say what I want. I'm not being racist. I have no problem with anyone of any race. I just think it's amazing that this kid still has doubters, that's all.

Basically said that the Knicks are playing hide and seek. Also said there's a strong possibility that they won't match Lin because of they're contacting Fatmond.

It would make sense for Felton to be the counter move to not matching Fields. It would also make sense for some media to jump on this and make sh** up. Okay I'm calming down now. I'm pretty sure Knicks are looking at Felton as a combo off the bench...he's actually a much better third guard than a PG.

You think it's amazing that people wonder if he can lead a team to a championship in the next 3 years? Really?

The marketability of Jeremy Lin will, you know, dip if he averages 8 and 4 in Kevin McHale's offense.

I'm talking about Lin. Fields is just not a good ballplayer and took major steps backwards. Lin, on the other hand, was more that any of us could have expected and is still just 23.

Why would Felton even take the minimum? Doesn't he realize NY is going to hate him for replacing Lin?

So what? Besides the final year the deal is extremely fair, especially for what he'll make any team off the floor. He's a cash cow.

Oh really?! Now, take the lesson by Jimmy Page, than even he's a cash-baron, he is a human too... NYK made Lin, not the vice-versa... it looks like the Yellow Mamba doesnt get it!!

Let him talk with Yao Ming... I dont want Lin in my team if he'll prefer Hou over my Knicks!!

That's the rule!! At least for the championship caliber teams!!

Maybe the Knicks will play like the '11 Mavericks, and start 2 PGs most of the time?

This better be B.S. Dolan won't be able to come to games any more. He better be willing to eat those luxury taxes for that final season, or trade Stoudemire for cap space.

I hope Grunwald is doing this just to f**k with Morey.

I just refuse to believe the Knicks will let him go. Like I mentioned in the Bulls forum, Lin has become more than a basketball player - he's a worldwide icon. Any team would benefit from this in various ways and the guy is pretty good basketball player too.

It's a no brainer really. Very dumb move to pass on him, I'd like to see him stay in NY.

Part of me is convinced that the Knicks are getting Felton as SG because he can shoot better than Landry Fields.

That's not the issue, because Felton is not that guy either. But Lin is young and has room for improvement. Felton is fat and lazy, and has been a disaster since the Melo trade.
