Alright, I'm going to go watch some brazzers. Hopefully Lin is matched when I'm done.

Felton is about Shump & Fields. Not Lin.

Kidd is 39, Pablo is unknown.

Chris Mannix: Lot of chatter about New York not wanting to be big taxpayers. Very few executives I talk to think the Knicks care. 3 minutes ago

Update 10:08 p.m.: The Houston Chronicle reports that talk of Felton given assurances the Knicks will not match are false. It's possible the Knicks could still match the offer. It would give the Knicks a four-man point guard rotation, which seems insane, but then, this is the Knicks we're talking about.

It appears that the Linsanity Era in New York could be coming to an end before it really began.

Late Saturday evening, television reporter Mark Haggard from South Carolina tweeted that he had spoken with free agent point guard Raymond Felton. Haggard reported that Felton had told him a deal was about to be completed sending him back to the New York Knicks. Even more stunning, Haggard said that Jeremy Lin, who on Friday signed an offer sheet with the Houston Rockets for three-years, $25.1 million, would not be returning to the Knicks, as they would not match the offer sheet.

There was nothing but rampant skepticism towards the report early on. Then minutes later...

what if felton signs for another 2-year deal? that makes sense for us. he'll be gone before 2015 hits.

I can picture Dwight getting traded to Houston, and at press conference "So Jeremy tell me what have you done in offseason?"

Don't get me wrong, Felton is not a bad nba player. But as a starter he's nothing special. His best role in the NBA is bench combo. Lin showed high impact, elite potential. Not too many guys in the NBA have that.

Honestly, if they let Lin walk and god forbid Shump is involved in a trade to get Felton, after 25 years as a Knicks fan, I am done. And I don't mean jumping on that Brooklyn bandwagon. I mean done with the NBA done. I'm just hoping that Lin is back and who cares if Felton is here or not as long as he doesn't cost us any real assets (Shump).

People saying Felton is a response to Shump Injury and Fields being gone- What? You realize Felton is 6-2 , rotund, and has never played as an off-guard ever, right?

Get the f**k out of here. We all saw how the c*ckblocking moved worked out for Toronto. 100% speculation. No matter what the Knicks should take the full 3 days to decide whether to match or not.

Oh my wow my bad. Its fake I posted that immediately after and like 4 times since. I guess I learned my lesson, damn.

I made my post before you I read that you had made up the quote. I don't have a twitter account and I don't even know how it works, so there is no way for me to tell if it's a made up quote or not.
