Kidd, Camby & Thomas? That's 3 rotation players 38 yrs or old. I'm torn about losing Jeffries. He was a great teammate, a very mobile defensive big for us, and was the only player capable of drawing charges. I have no clue what Thomas still has left in the tank.

And Felton, Camby & Thomas back means 3 former Knicks have rejoined the club. If Felton deal is for 3 year (I don't know, remember I'm still page 44), and Dolan cares about luxury taxes, then it looks like Lin won't be matched.

I'll wait until the 71th hours after NY receives Lin's offer sheet to make my judgement of the Knicks off-season. Tomorrow's VSL game interview should be interesting.

Jeffries stunk his time as a knick. He only had a good stretch of games which was this season besides that he's been hot trash. always injured , no offensive game, overrated defender.

The problem i the knicks payroll is going to be huge in a couple of years. They are going to be subsidizing half of the small market teams at the rate they are going.

That's true. Look on the bright side. During the first half of the game, Felton can sit on the bench on the right side and after half time, he can switch and sit on the bench on the left side. Felton can go right AND left...

felton at $3 million/year i think could be a real steal. we were paying him $7 million before. that contract could be a nice little asset.

lin is better, but felton would be a top-of-the-line back-up.

Why can't we sign Lin because of this? The media is overhyping it. I believe we'll match Lin and have awesome depth. It's a good move regardless.

It doesn't make sense to sign Felton and Lin when we just signed to veteran PG's...

the writing is on the wall

We signed a guy who's never played in the NBA and a guy who can't guard the 1.

Does make sense.

kidd plays more SG, with JR the 2 backup

lin and felton hold down the PG spot

-and if lin indeed leaves, there will be a non money reason involved

I wouldn't be surprised if Kidd starts at SG.

Well... maybe cause with everybody in perfectly shape, we'll have something like...

Felton-Kidd-Prigioni
Lin-Shumpert-Diebler
Anthony-Smith-White

That'll suck so bad, everybody there needs the ball, that'll remember me the times of Marbury, Crawford, Francis, QRich and all these suckers.

We need a defensive minded, balanced team.

Right now even if Lin could sign for 0.5m$ and we avoid the taxes and all this, I'd prefer to sign Mo Evans than him.
