Last I remembered Melo played in a high scoring, fast style tempo in Denver & last I remembered Felton plays best as a halfcourt PG.

What really are you saying fam?

Felton played his best ball in D'Antoni's uptempo system. He got a lot of point from pushing in transition. Lin did well under D'Antoni too but he has a better half court game. Melo thrive in an uptempo system when he had Andre Miller but Felton is a lot worse.

Lin is a goner if we are giving Felton a deal beyond 3 years.

Conflicting info out there, but source insists Raymond Felton's deal with New York will pay him approximately $18 million over four years.

WTF. Is that possible with Gad & JJ's salaries

With new CBA in S&T if you send cash you can increase the incoming salaries to a 150% I think, so,... who knows, maybe it is, maybe Bibby goes to Portland too in another deal.

Are you guys really going to play Kidd at the 2? Don't see how you match for Lin now...

Why not just match Lin and try and trade him later on if it doesn't work out?

Here would be a good plan in the off-season: Instead of overpaying Novak, overpaying Kidd/Felton combo, we could have kept our youth.

I was praising the front office for adding veterans to our youth. Apparently, that was not the real plan.

So, here is the game: Dolan makes trade for Felton so that the price of MSG stock drops. Then he buys stock, agrees to match Lin's sheet with Rockets, and the price goes up. Dolan makes money.

you know, i think we're trying to acquire as much talent as possible. it doesn't make sense to let lin go because that's a contract we can give out without having to be under the cap. we're not going to be able to do that any more for the next 3 years. getting felton, who can play 2 guard, shouldn't make a difference in the lin decision... at least i hope it doesn't. i will f**king lose it if we let him go.

ray really isn't trash. he was our captain and a borderline all-star. he has his flaws, but he shot the ball well and had good chemistry with amar'e.

And one more thing. I still say this somehow goes back to Chris Paul. There may just be a method to the Knicks madness
 What a weird guy he is.

He makes sense.... Paul rumors to ny will start sooner then later until he signs that extension... anything can happen who saw nash to lakers

How does it make sense? We aren't going to be able to do a S&T next year. We have no trade chips and besides, Clips unlikely to deal him at deadline. If anything, better chance to get him if we match Lin, he plays great, and he is the main piece in a Paul trade.

Who on our roster would the Clips like? Maybe Shumpert... but he isn't getting you Chris Paul.. not even close.

Felton at this price is a HUGE STEAL, and maybe trade asset, if Paul wants to come over, we can make a deal happens if another team wants Amare,... just saying.

Anyway, Felton is going to play great here, so having a quality starting PG, at his prime (28 years old) for 4.5m$/y, ir GREAt.
