Because in your eyes Lin's a poor-court-vision-chucker with motivational/attitude issues who also happens to be the fattest guard in the league?

Lakers' "win now" = Steve Nash
Knicks "win now" = Raymond Felton

Way to go...

signing felton is a HUGE plus for not having to rush back Shumpert in any capacity..

We are not going to let Lin go.

Off course not, mark my words, Felton in good shape next year, is going to have a better season than Lin, cause Felton is the better player out of this, the proven player, the winner.

How? Felton put up better numbers than Lin when he was in NY

Your BS one liners never contain anything tangible, if you make a statement back it up with facts

Because Lin has the chance to be much better than Felton. With Felton you get what you get... the upside is ZERO... and to be a serious contender we need UPSIDE.

Potential is not part of the equation, we are in win now mode.

He said felton downgrades our chances at winning which is not possible if he played better than Lin in NY.

We already have Lin, who has tremendous upside and is a better player than Felton. We already have him and can continue to BUILD our team with him. Why bring in a new PG to run the team? Don't you guys think it's kind of a huge risk to have Felton run the team after the past two years he's put up and having had a very average career? I thought we were trying to contend...

He put up exactly 11/6 two years ago too in Denver...
This isn't just a one-season thing.

And there is the bottom line. NY fans finally had something they could root for. We know the odds of us winning a title were slim the next few years anyway with the Heat having their ridiculous team. At least with Lin, we had MSG rocking again like the 90's. We had a guy we could really back. It's great having the fossils of Camby and crazy eyes backk, but let's face it, Carmelo isn't a guy you could relate to and just go nuts for. Neither is Amare. Chandler is much closer, but Mr. Excitiment he is not. Lin gave us something special, something Raymond Felton could never do, pulling at the New York on his jersey or not. The Knicks, if they do not match Lin, would be ripping that away from us. Sure, we'd still have a good team, but it wouldn't be the Lin led team that made us rock like it was 1999 again.

So we just gave up a mediocre PG for an even worse one? Real. Only the Knicks.

If Lin isn't matched, its gonna be because of the finances nothing else.

Not to spite fans, not because NYK doesn't wanna win, not because the other guys are jealus, not because of the way he acts, etc...

Its gonna be because of the money.

You don't see the Lakers trying to shed Kobe, though. Because he makes money for the franchise. Same goes for Lin.

The stupidity is throwing money at the Novak's and Felton's of the league. Those are the salary killers--like the Blakes, and McRobert's of the world.
