Have you seen Felton after he left NY?

Did you even watch Linsanity at it's peak??

Yeah, Felton never took over games the way Lin did in his first 10 games. Felton just got hot from outside and hit a lot of dumb shots.

Because in your eyes Lin's a poor-court-vision-chucker with motivational/attitude issues who also happens to be the fattest guard in the league?

Well considering Felton only put up more shots per game then lin once in his career
(with the knicks in 38 mpg) what does that make Lin? :-? Motivation shouldnt be an issue considering he was ecstactic to play here and still wants to come back after we shipped him off.

You're missing the point... he proved he can be that player. And for us to WIN NOW we needed him to be that player or find someone who can of which there are only two of.

Enough with the goddamn "Lin brings in outside money and raises stock prices in MSG" nonsense. How the hell does any of that translate into the operation of running a NBA team and having FINANCIAL flexibility in the face of a massive luxury tax related DIRECTLY to basketball operations? I would like him back but the money is CRAZY...

Felton put up shots with Amar'e and Gallo on his team. Lin put up shots with Jeffries and Chandler in the lineup? You're being dense.

If Lin isn't matched, its gonna be because of the finances nothing else.

Not to spite fans, not because NYK doesn't wanna win, not because the other guys are jealus, not because of the way he acts, etc...

Its gonna be because of the money.

let me ask you this then, do you think the knicks were mentally prepared during the off-season to match an offer like the first one lin got or the second one?

cause, to me, it was a big surprise that lin's first offer was so low. i was expecting something a lot higher, as i'm sure the knicks organization was, too.

now, if there were reports saying that we'd match anything up to a billion dollars for Lin, prior to free agency opening up, don't you think they were prepared for the luxury tax ramifications? this second offer is more what we expected in the first place anyway.

That report was obviously media type exagerration said without any knowledge of the Knicks's financial affairs.

A Billion dollars ? Are you **** kidding me ?

And the first offer was high in itself, any NBA scout right now will tell you that Lin is no worth that money for what he brings to the basketball court.

I can't speak offcourse for what he brings into an organization in terms of off the court revenue.
Originated from the nethermost, currently however, our entire squadron is now hither.

The financial flexibility has been thrown out the door a long time ago.

LIN IS NOT IRREPLACEABLE

Again though, the other signings suggest to me that Dolan is not penny-pinching here. And the idea of not matching out of spite is too stupid to deserve a response.

15 million is whole 'nother level tax, dude, you can't compare Felton and Novak getting 3-4 mil to lin getting 15 mil on top of the other money...

no comparison

Spite, very well could have ALOT to do with it, if houston gives this offer from the door, the knicks probably match outright, it's they way they are getting played that's pissing them off, they're getting f*cked over and don't need to be, Lin ain't irreplaceable

Toney Douglas wants the Knicks to match Lin. He doesn't want this guy following him around the NBA taking his job away. LOL.

Who would have known the one player Lin will still be teammates with is Toney.

Never implied anything. Just saying it's glad to be a team that players want to be in. Especially after the LeBron thing I myself started noticing us being used as leverage.

We lose Jeremy? Let it be. Loved him but we gotta move on if he is in Houston. It's time to start getting used to Raymond and hope Kidd can help Felton become a better player here.

LETS GO RAYMOND!
