Once they found out Kyrie's injured, they could "suspend" talks to see where Kyrie is at.

Orlando will get desperate pretty soon. Soon as in before the season starts.

I get it but I guess I was just going by the report that he would be back by training camp. Oh well doesn't look likes it's going to happen anyways. When will it all end???

d-12 to lakers rumor again?

So much for the Orlando Magic focusing on their coaching search. Dwight Howard-to-the-Lakers rumors are heating up again.

The Lakers, Magic and Cleveland Cavaliers are discussing a three-team trade that would send Howard to Los Angeles and center Andrew Bynum to Cleveland, Hoopsworld’s Alex Kennedy reported Saturday. From Kennedy’s report:

The three teams have discussed a number of scenarios. While no trade is imminent, the talks are ongoing.

One scenario would send Howard to Los Angeles, Andrew Bynum to Cleveland and a package of picks and prospects to Orlando, according to sources.

The Lakers would land Howard, who they have been aggressively pursuing for quite some time.

The latest Howard-to-the-Lakers rumors involved a three-team trade among the Lakers, Magic and Houston Rockets, who have also been trying to land Howard.

But the latest rumor could be an attractive option for all teams involved, if they can make it work. The Lakers would get Howard, who they have coveted since last offseason. The Cavaliers would get Bynum, a young big man who they could pair with point guard Kyrie Irving and draft pick Dion Waiters. Bynum would also reportedly be willing to sign an extension with the Cavaliers if traded there.

The Magic, meanwhile, would get young talent, draft picks and cap space in what’s becoming a rebuilding process. The Rockets have also been involved in talks for Howard recently, but they are reportedly not close to a deal with the Magic.

Gilbert is a d*ckhead and he knows the only way the media will talk about the Cavs is if they pretend to be interested in deals they have no intention of doing.

It is simply going to be Bynum for Howard without the picks if Orlando wants to deal with us unless Houston changes their mind to do the three teams trade. Howard needs to speak out to the media to name his new list or he is going to be stuck in Houston.

Dude, relax. We all know who Gilbert is and that is why Lebron left him, just too greedy with the ability that miscalculations.

I'm miffed as to why Cleveland would drop out. Tristan is so-so, several of the picks were late first rounders because they're from contenders, and all of the current players involved on their roster (i.e. walton) seem like filler contracts. In my opinion that's NOTHING for a chip like Bynum. Maybe Orlando was trying to squeeze them for more picks/assets/taking on a bad contract... Who knows..?

I'm wondering what the next phase of this will be. Maybe after the Rockets realize they have no more cap space to take on a bad contract when both of their offer sheets are not matched next week, the LA-ORL-HOU three way trade heats up again? thoughts?

Everybody knows Dan Gilbert just is an asshol* who just is so bad at trading because he thinks he knows it all and should be the one to rip people off and not others. In reality, it is Houston or the three ways trade with the Houston. The destiny of Howard is up to him to vocally speak his new team to be traded or Houston decide what to do.

Agreed Gilbert is a d*uche. He screwed w/ the Nets, I guess it's only fair that he screw w/ us when it matters (again). Weird considering they were a decent trade partner @ the deadline.

I think the offer sheets Houston have out will really rain on their Dwight to Houston parade. I think it'll be much harder for them to take back contracts in addition to Dwight now

Probasketballdraft ‏@Probballdraft
A source with knowledge tells me proposed Magic-Lakers-Cavs trade has no legs. Teams have too many obstacles to overcome to pull it off now.

No Shi*!
A prideful Dan Gilbert.
