How could Dolan become a billionaire businessman if he let his ego and emotion get in the way of himself making a decision?

By having a billionaire daddy.

Because his father Charles didn't let his ego and emotion get in the way of being a ruthless SOB, intent on screwing the cable consumer at each and every opportunity.

LOL Dolan became a billionaire businessman when he was in his diapers. It took no skill, hard work nor any business savvy whatsoever.

Lin's passing ability, ability to break down the defense, ability to get everyone involved, and winning nature are leagues above Felton.

These are all qualities that are necessary for a team to be good and qualities that are very scarce on our roster.

Felton, well he tries hard (so does Lin).

Not keeping Lin is going to go down as the worst mover ever made by this franchise.

Why? Isn't Hill going to LA?

Just change the team name to Geriatrics. Watch Shump go in a S&T.

So Knicks all of a sudden/ James Dolan trying to save money, avoid the luxury tax? Because of new CBA? I don't buy it. Nobody does. This was all created by trolls in the media trying to get more followers/hits on their websites/articles.

Lets look at some of the player the Knicks have paid MILLIONS AND MILLIONS to (in recent years)

Jerome James, Eddy Curry, Francis, Marbury, Penny, Jalen Rose,

and now they are not going to give Lin less than 30 million??????????????

For a 23 year old rising star PG, with so much marketing possibilities?

I just refuse to believe the Knicks will toss it in the garbage like this.

The other thing is that with Felton on the roster, it makes me nervous because I do question whether he will gravitate away from Lin. I don't trust that Woodson trusts Lin.

But I still think Lin comes back. Maybe it's just me but I would rather Lin than Paul.

just one thing to say, NY + Fatboy < NY + Lin < NY + Lin + fatboy to a title.

if anyone think that fatboy + Melo + Stat + tyson can lead us to a title then you do not know anything about basketball. we have to take a chance on Lin since he MAY become an ALL STAR PG who can, with Melo stat and tyson, get us pass Heat and get us a title, it is a gamble but with fatboy, we have no chance.
fatboy is what you see here while Lin MAY turn to become the ALl Star PG. i just don't see why we should not gamble here since we have a three year windows anyway.

now, on to some good news:

InsideHoops.com ‏@InsideHoops
Source tells InsideHoops the #Knicks still might match Rockets offer and keep Jeremy Lin

yes it is insidehoop but good news whatsoever.
What's sad to me is that we could have had them BOTH. Harvard learning from one of the GOAT.

Now we have Fat learning from Drunk.

Everyone is freaking out because the media wants them too. The media has power because we give it to them time after time, tweet after tweet.

This can also be a way for the Knicks to show him that he is not irreplaceable, let him think this one through for a couple of days before matching. Whatever happens, it's clear the Knicks were pissed at the renegotiation of the contract and that is driving the decision to either match or show him he is not irreplaceable.

Can there be one gigantic signature/avatar bet on whether we match or not?

MSG stock has gained ~$600m in market cap since Lin's first start - there's just no way Dolan is letting Lin walk.

Has that Argentinian PG actually signed or still rumoured?

If this is the Knicks trolling the Rockets or Lin, they got a big time fail. Because they're also trolling their own fan base hard big time now.
