I actually think the Rockets are comfortable either way. If we match, they will get a bigger share of luxury tax. If we don't match, they get the best PG on their roster.

I think the Knicks are trolling their own fan base more than anyone.

rockets not sweating this one bit.

If we match they have no starting PG since they loss Dragic and Lowry. Their roster is a mess and complete garbage. They really went all in on Howard. If they don't get him they are screwed.

These are all qualities that are necessary for a team to be good and qualities that are very scarce on our roster.

Felton, well he tries hard (so does Lin).

Not keeping Lin is going to go down as the worst mover ever made by this franchise.

Agreed. To add to that. I have a feeling Woodson is not broken up over this. Wouldn't be shocked if he is connected, since he loves ISO ball.

Yeah, Lebron James was supposed to do that also and we actually had cap space to pay him. :x

Lin will be matched... and then sent to LAC along with Tyson and Felton for CP3 & DJ

He's asian. Plain and simple. SAS has been anti-Lin all the way through.

yea sas hates lin because hes asian

He doesn't hate him but he stereotypes his basketball skills based on his race. There is no doubt about that. He has doubted Lin every step of the way. If SAS gives his honest opinion, Zeke was a better GM for us thank Donny also. SAS seems to have plenty of opinions clouded by race.

Not at all. If you think fatty gives us a better chance than Lin on the other hand, you truly are a Lin hater.

I think Lin isnt that much better than him they both put up all star numbers in the same system, felton is tougher(almost never misses a game) and plays better d. If the money is equal id take Lin because of his age.......only thing i hate about lin is how he put his contract before the team and didnt help us in the playoffs when he was so called 85%

Nothing of substance. Just more media speculation which confuses things more than clarifies things.

Doubt it but I wouldn't mind. The only reason I even watch the Clippers in the first place was for CP3.

why would he hate Lin?

Not sure but he always has, ever since Linsanity started.. he always had a negative attitude towards Lin.

On a positive note, Jeremy Lin's longtime trainer thinks the Knicks will match. Growing suspense entering the next couple of days.

Let's watch this bit of positive *speculation* be ignored so we can continue freaking out

But Lin is EASILY worth 3x that both on and off the court. I really think this is the end for the Knicks if they let him go:

A) They lose a giant share of their fan base overnight. And depress the others.

B) The only way to recover is getting a franchise player in the Draft and that may not ever happen in our lifetimes.

It would be end of the line.

In fact, if we don't hear anything today, I'd be very suspicious.

This thing has gotten so bad so quickly that I think Knicks need to make a statement today. They don't have to match today but they do have to make a press release.

**** em we dont need Lin fans we need knicks fans

That is the spirit. HAIL Dolan and Knicks. More sheeple, I mean fans!

The other thing is that with Felton on the roster, it makes me nervous because I do question whether he will gravitate away from Lin. I don't trust that Woodson trusts Lin.

But I still think Lin comes back. Maybe it's just me but I would rather Lin than Paul.

This can also be a way for the Knicks to show him that he is not irreplaceable, let him think this one through for a couple of days before matching. Whatever happens, it's clear the Knicks were pissed at the renegotiation of the contract and that is driving the decision to either match or show him he is not irreplaceable.

How is that clear?

Kidd, Melo, Grunwald, Woodson have all been talking about Lin as a member of the team for most of the summer. Suddenly, this weekend, everyone has taken a step back and are talking about "if he comes back", etc. The only thing that changed between their earlier comments and the current comments is the contract structure. It is fair to assume that everyone has been told by the front office to pull back the comments about Lin and leave them ambiguous as they have started doing.

How come we take our time to trend #unfollowisola but nobody has thought of trending something about keeping Lin. Let's have our voices be heard.

If the Knicks match, the Rockets are desperate for a legit starting PG. So no, they're not comfortable.

They can actually tank better without a legit PG.
