didn't like all the media attention...not a charismatic kid :dontknow:

he just never seem thrilled about the idea of being a PG in New York...he would rather just be a somebody in Houston.

maybe he just wasn't cut out for the pressure that comes with playing in NY

I'm not happy about losing Lin but if it means that TKF won't post anymore then f*ck it!

If Lin is so adamant about HOU can we do a S&T for say, Martin? Is this logistically possible?

If we wanted to make Lin squirm with regret, mission accomplished. Now match.

this is pretty intense banter. i think this shows why the knicks will deffo be matching. the man makes news. this is what the knicks want. frankly, any team would want this buzz. as long as lin can be a very good sixth man, he's worth it.
I dunno.

Or maybe he got a cold shoulder from Melo and Woodson cause they're not down with anybody but Melo being a playmaker.

Are we holding a popularity contest or trying to win games. People have been heckling Dolan for recklessly spending money, and now that he's allowed the "basketball" people to make "basketball" decisions, everyone wants to complain. HYPOCRITES.

- Lin is screwing the Knicks over by leaking infos to the Rockets FO, secretly working on a bigger contract and forcing his way out of NY.

- It still isnt´t clear if the Knicks will match or not.

- Melo saying he wants Lin back, but it isn´t his business. Then calls the contract ridiculous which he is.

Knicks board:

F*** Melo

F*** Woodson

F*** Dolan

F*** Grunwald

F***Isaiah

Hail Lin.

Pathetic. Just pathetic.

A sign of people seeing what they want to see to further their agenda. There are plenty of posters that bash Lin. You've been consistently one of them.

You're not talking to me...

Lupica wrote a piece this morning saying it'd be insane to match Houston's offer because of year 3 but also because it kills any chance of us getting CP3. In the article he didn't mention how exactly it would hurt us getting CP3 next year, so I was hoping maybe one of you guys might know. We'll be over the cap so we can't sign him outright so what is he talking about.

Even if we do match Lin, why the **** did we have to trade Jeffries?

F*ck agendas. I was against the Melo trade, but I understood it and gave Melo a chance. I also understood TKF's feelings, but I always thought he was way too extremist. But if Dolan really does let Lin go then I will then fully realize TKF's position about our owner...

TKF was right...all along...he was right, guys...he deserves an official apology, imo...

Another positive to take out of this....we wouldn't have to listen to that joke of a reporter who always ask stupid questions about Lin even if the situation doesn't pertain to it.

She will be sent down to Houston as part of the offer sheet.

who asks question about Lin during a Kidd and Camby press conference???

n the late 1960s, researchers submitted hundreds of four-year-olds to an ingenious little test of willpower: the kids were placed in a small room with a marshmallow or other tempting food and told they could either eat the treat now, or, if they could hold out for another 15 minutes until the researcher returned, they could have two.

Most children said they would wait. But some failed to resist the pull of temptation for even a minute. Many others struggled a little longer before eventually giving in. The most successful participants figured out how to distract themselves from the treat’s seduction — by turning around, covering their eyes or kicking the desk, for instance — and delayed gratification for the full 15 minutes.

Follow-up studies on these preschoolers found that those who were able to wait the 15 minutes were significantly less likely to have problems with behavior, drug addiction or obesity by the time they were in high school, compared with kids who gobbled the snack in less than a minute. The gratification-delayers also scored an average of 210 points higher on the SAT.
