Idiocy is signing bad contracts, not declining bad contracts.

By that logic then this team is full of idiocy.

For TKF, it was Melo...he understood early on...

Other then Amare, who wasnt that bad of a contract and mandatory to get to start the process of getting other stars, who is a bad contract?

You people are soo comical.

1. Lin isnt gone yet..wait till its official before you over react

2. How do you stick with the Knicks during Isaiah, Marbury, Curry, Larry Brown, Mike Sweeney, Jordan Hill, Tracy McGrady, but THIS is the final straw?

It's hard to voluntarily stop rooting for a team. But I'm definitely going to try to take pleasure in this whole mess blowing up in Dolan/Woodson/Melo's face. I probably won't be completely on board until Dolan is gone. Hopefully that day will come soon, because if Lin does well in Houston, and it turns out that this was purely a case of Dolan throwing a tantrum, he is gonna have some explaining to do to his shareholders.

Giving up a guy you believe in for a mediocre player is worse than sitting through **** because we already have what we need.

Leeroy Jenkins wrote:I find it pathetic how fans can get so attached to players. Are you rooting for the players, or the team? What's even more sad is that Lin isn't even OUR player. We didn't draft him, he hasn't led us to championships, and he sure as hell isn't a seasoned Knick. I can understand getting attached to those kinds of players, but jumping ship over Jeremy Lin is inexcusable. Do us all a favor and stop rooting for the Knicks now. We don't need lukewarm fans like you.

For the record im not ON the Lin bandwagon .
Im just on the bandwagon of building a good contending/championship team .
Do i think Lin will be a superstar ?
HELL NO
Do i think Lin will be able to grow and be a really nice piece and at least be a valuable trade asset in the future ?
HELL YES !!!
So why in my right mind would i let him walk for NOTHING !
I wouldnt , yet again NYK has no problem getting rid of young players with potential and actually build a TEAM instead of constantly shuffling a roster full of has beens .

ITS NOT ABOUT LIN !!
Its about EVERY SINGLE MOVE THAT GOT US TO THIS POINT !

THE ROAD TO NOWHERE !

What's pitiful is an organization that has had more resources then almost every team in the nba-yet for over forty years cant win a championship. I spend time, money, and put my heart into this team-since 93-don't try to tell me about "fandom"

Enough is enough... I will finally make the Knicks accountable if they f-up a move that would have not only given us the chance at having another player with potential for greatness. Not to mention the chance to build the Knick brand globally...

Fandom, in 2012 is nothing like it use to be...

Lin doesn't WANT to play for the Knicks, bottom line. May he have a very Yao Ming-like career for his treacherous dealings with the dummies willing to pay 15m after cutting him in the past.

Before TKF, it was Hoodie, and before Hoodie it was Cosmic right?

But no, go on "real" fans, and let them "fake" fans have it. As if it's illogical or irrational to have a breaking point with this team.

what do you base you allegiance on?

would you stay with a spouse that beats the crap out of you consistently just because you are married?

would you keep going to a restaurant in which your food has roaches in it because your family had eaten there for generations?
