Felton is a BUM! Where was he drafted again? The dude is garbage.. certifiable. Denver didn't want him, Charlotte didn't want him and Portland didn't want him.

I think cooler heads need to prevail, match the deal, and reasses the situation

lin has trade value despite the 15 M at the end

it's over. they got Hahn out there working the press with how his teammates weren't comfortable with him. there's no coming back to that.

Wasn't he singing a completely different tune just a day ago?

In my opinion we still have the best young talent on last year's team still on the roster. Shump>>>Lin. Be happy we still have him and he isnt going anywhere. Shump upside in my opinion is light years ahead of Lin. From a defensive mindset way ahead and his offense is something he can definitely improve.

Most would agree and that's why most weren't willing to part with Shump even for Nash. That doesn't mean we have to choose one. We can't have another young talent on the team?

No35 wrote:You seriously aren't worried about injuries with 3, possibly 4 of the oldest active players in the league?

Savvy vets are fine, but not when they constitute your ENTIRE bench.

ENTIRE bench? It's 3 players we're talking about. Kidd and Camby who have both been relatively healthy for quite a while. Then Kurt Thomas who is a 3rd stringer on this team. That's hardly the entire bench (JR Smith, James White, Novak, Shump, other possible additions...and that's without saying that I'd love to add Grant Hill who would be great here despite his age). What's most important is that all of our vets will be great for the locker room and will provide defense and stability in the limited playing time that we need them for. Other than that, this team is full of guys who are athletic and in the middle of their careers.

Lastly, as far as injuries go, I'm just as worried about Melo or Tyson getting injured as I am Kidd or Camby. So in that sense, why should I even bother worrying? Look at Kyrie, Blake...D Rose. All recently injured. The fans of those teams are pretty annoyed by it, I'm sure. But that's just part of the game. Short answer is: No. I'm not worried about that. As long as they're healthy today.

Lin was making some crazy shots during that stretch, but he also made sure to give his teammates the ball in positions where they could do something good with it. Point guards who can do this are worth a lot more than a stiff like Brook Lopez.

I didn't wish Chit... I simply said Watson is a better PG than anyone we had. guys can come with their numbers... I'm coming with my eyes... when it comes to running the point Watson is better at it than Felton.

I think Lin has converted more non-basketball fans to NBA fans. He's probably the leader in that category.

exactly

so even if he ticked off the owner
even if he has a frosty relationship with some players (which to me seems like an issue as no one seems to be speaking up for him at the moment, or maybe im being too cynical)

it doesnt matter he still is a asset you shouldnt lose for nothing

should match the deal and reassess in a year (maybe things are patched up, if not, trade him next summer)

i don't think felton is that good, dont get me wrong.

but CJ Watson shot a whopping 36% from the field last year and 24% from the field in the playoffs...lets not make CJ Watson into this good player.

Pg's dont get paid to make shots they get paid to run teams and get W's.

When it was reported that Fat Felton was at Dolan's BBQ, I posted the scenario that the Knicks may go after Felton and not match Lin. I got crapped on by a lot of you here, but it actually happened, wow...
