I think cooler heads need to prevail, match the deal, and reasses the situation

lin has trade value despite the 15 M at the end

+1...If anything just match the deal, and trade him in january. He has trade value bc he is young, marketable, and has potential.

F him too then.

Are you serious?

Absolutely... not supporting a 2nd year player because he's too cocky is inexcusable. And let's not act like Chandler is a saint here. He has this rep as a leader but I never heard anything about that prior to last season with Dallas.

i think Felton is now underrated after last season on that terrible blazers team

Felton is a BUM! Where was he drafted again? The dude is garbage.. certifiable. Denver didn't want him, Charlotte didn't want him and Portland didn't want him.

he wanted the Knicks, Felton did not want Portland or Charlotte. You should not just make things up

Go ask Bobcats, Nuggets and Blazers fans how they feel about Raymond Felton.

MSG will sell out regardless....the only thing that is going to change is the demographic of the fans imo

Seats will be filled regardless, but they will be missing the Jersey sales that they would get from the Asian community. They will also lose the chance on gaining the market outside of the US. With Lin they can make the Knicks into a global icon like the Yankees

We were actively searching for a PG to replace Lin not to back him up

Possible details of Blazers-Knicks deal could be Knicks sending Kostas Papanikolaou to Blazers and $$ to help pay for Jeffries' $3.1M salary

its not about seats

its about tv contracts in the far east, marketing your brand in that area, the jersey sales, etc

Lin has a lot of value internationally and locally, they shouldnt let him go for nothing

Trade him for picks. I don't think we have many left.

i don't think felton is that good, dont get me wrong.

but CJ Watson shot a whopping 36% from the field last year and 24% from the field in the playoffs...lets not make CJ Watson into this good player.

Pg's dont get paid to make shots they get paid to run teams and get W's.

CJ Watson is a slightly better version of Tony Douglas, he is a shoot first PG that isn't a good passer.

He has never been a guy to run an offense. He is a 3 point shooting PG. He doesn't drive at all. He comes of screens and shoots. So if he shoots poorly he is pretty terrible

i just saw chandler and melo on sportcenter they basically said he got big contract from the rockets and said he has right to go wherever he wants to it seemed to me they were frustrated with rockets giving lin that big contract.

Knicks fans shouldn't have to wait until Tuesday to find out if they're going to match or not. There's uncertainty in your fanbase. The media is running the Knicks organization right now.

Its gonna be very funny when Fatty starts doing the suckage on the court then pull a hammy because he's so overweight next year and we're barely over .500. The Knicks and us fans are gonna be like WTF happened. We actually went from having some hope for the future backcourt tandem of Lin and Shump to Kidd and Fatty.

THIS CANNOT BE REAL!!!
