Listen, I'm mad we aren't bringing Lin back, but those people who are going to convert weren't Knicks fans to begin with.

I saw KnicksGod say he will stop being a Knicks fan or will be done with them if they don't bring him back so I was curious who else was on his side.

I would probably head on over to Brooklyn category too.

lol KG isn't converting. He is just angry right now.

That's why I've been saying I truly believe we will match Lin, but everything went off course when I said you can make reasons as to why people don't want the Knicks to match.

I'll say it again, if the Knicks are planning to match, they need to bail out of the Felton deal. He makes literally no sense except as a Lin replacement.

Him throwing Lin under the bus was disgusting. What does he care--no Lin, spotlights on him. As long as Melo gets his 25-30 shots a game, win or lose, he's smiling.

Melo looking out for Melo.

David Thorpe: And that's only after the Knicks kicked out Felton and McHale did same to Lin. Meanwhile, Brooks may be better than each of those guys. 1 minute ago

Frank Isola: Jason Kidd is a good signing as a player but I'm not buying this mentoring nonsense. That's all I'm saying. That's just a sports cliche 2 minutes ago

Alan Hahn: Some confused by what I just said on @MSGNetworks re: Lin. Knicks could trade him, with consent, after Jan. 15. Can’t trade to HOU for 1 yr. 2 minutes ago

That's ridiculous. It's Lin's contract, hence it's about Lin. You don't say your teammate's contract is "ridiculous," period.

I don't understand why we wouldn't match Lin. The money we'd make through marketing would obliterate the 30 million of lux tax. Also, when did money ever become an issue for Dolan?

If this is a pure basketball decision it makes absolutely no sense. In order to be a legit contender, a guy like Lin would have to be our wildcard, and continue to blossom into a top 10 point guard. Also, he is a key component to our future, as Lin and Shump are our only young pieces.

I'd be stunned if we don't match, Lin has been the best thing to happen to this franchise in years..

Once again who cares about his comments they have no barring on the situation.

1-Rockets made the offer not dependent on Melo's comments
2-Lin signed the offer not dependent on Melo's comments
3-Rockets and Lin re-did the offer not dependent on Melo's comments
4-Knicks will decide to match or not not dependent on Melo's comments.

Melo's comments
Chandlers comments
Amares fashion line
Shumps knee
Kidd wrecked car
Camby wheelchair

All have no barring on any of the points above. You are focusing your anger at the wrong place.

Hopefully we sign Lin and the Felton trade was just a big FU to Houston. No Lin, no chubby, what you gonna do now.

Not a likely scenario, but a funny one.

What happened to the term..."I can't comment on that". Utter failure from the Knick FO.

Frank Isola: Love that Jeremy Lin didn't make it to the playoffs or practice with USA in Las Vegas but thankfully he attended the ESPYS. 1 minute ago

Deep inside, I think he actually likes Lin.

What did Lin do wrong??? He had no offer, he signed the only contract that was offered to him!!!

That isn't true. He had the 4 yr 28 million offer, but went back, behind the Knicks' back, to ask for more money.

If Lin doesn't come back, this isn't going to be about the luxury tax.
