he's not a borderline all star though

You dont say? That couldn't possibly be because I was giving a player comparison to a rookie who hasn't started a single NBA game yet could it  ?

Iggy was a much better passer coming out of college. I haven't seen a flair for passing out of the Swedish Viking yet.

he thinks taylor would start over hendo

Im not a huge Hendo fan- he isn't tall, can't pass, lacks great dribbling ability, has no 3 point shot to speak of, relies on the fade-away to often, and is wildly inconsistent. Versus taller players he almost always struggles. I don't think he is a starter in this league.

That stated if you are talking about Gordon's starting spot than we can begin the discussion- in which case I would lead off by saying that Taylor could grab it in a few years from what I have seen. Taylor would provide good size at the position while also giving us the 3 point touch that most teams expect out of their SG's.

right so you expect gordon to start, taylor to back him up, and hendo to be a towelboy. Got it...

I hope so, or in better words, I wouldn't be opposed to it. I think Gerald Henderson is a decent player, but his value is a bit overrated, which will lead to him getting overpaid. He was supposedly the Bobcats best player last season, yet still he had a lesser PER than the struggling Kemba Walker.

Being that this is a Jeffery Taylor thread, I want to commend him on the clutch 3-pointer that he made the other night. That was BIG. I look forward to him playing well tonight.

Captain Crunk still can't control his emotions

Jeff Taylor could make hendo expendable, but I doubt it, if hendo's going to be replaced it'll probably be by our savior Shabazz Boosie Muhammed

Who is going to overpay him? It takes two teams to overpay. Who wants/needs him bad enough and can afford him?

I should've put "COULD lead to him getting overpaid", but you're right. I checked out the possible free agent market for SGs next year when Hendo will be restricted, and it doesn't appear that he'll command a deal much higher, if higher, than his QO a la Augustin. Maybe he's just a bit overrated in Bobcats boards. That's all.

I'd definitely agree to that much, but around the league I don't think his value is all that high, especially after last season.
