Not many 'bench players at best' on that list.

How many of them are getting paid 15 million in 3 years?

Ummm... quite a few will earn the max when their rookie deals are up. I would say the average salary over the next few years for everyone on that team is above Lin's average of $8m a year.

I didn't even need to. The list speaks for itself.

now you're just baiting. calling it a "lie" implies that your opinion that he isn't is fact, too, you know.

anyway, did i miss something? are we definitely not matching now?

If he is sharing an opinion that he may not believe in, it is a lie.

And if you're calling me baiting, I'm responding to a post that had zero to do with you.

i am calling you baiting. and your post wasn't aimed at me. i don't see what the two have to do with each other. i agree with you that it's silly to call for woodson to come out and call lin an all-star, but your comment was equally if not more ridiculous, and usually you're better than that. hence, baiting.

I think Lin will be matched; even if there is a plan to make u push for CP3 come February deadline and Lin wont perform on a higher levels; still we'd have other assets to make a deal, while giving Lin another chance to show what he can. And I dont believe that would be difficult to move him in his final year. There are always teams that need expiring bad/big contracts!!

This will be our starting lineup opening night
Kidd
Lin
Melo
STAT
Chandler

Book It

Houston can kick rocks. And then when they strike out on Howard we can turn around and give them Lin for the price of picks, young players and taking STAT's contract. The end.

Return to New York Knicks
