I was so sad when my favorite MLB team Mets let my favorite player walk (Jose Reyes), but team always come first. I still stick with the Mets. I'll still stick with the Knicks if they let Lin walk.

In NO way do i think of Lin as a savior , however , he IS a valuable asset in the least , and we do not have many ways to improve this team the next few years .

Its just a combination of foolish moves one after the next , year after year that have pushed me in this direction .

We have NO YOUTH . just shump .
We are NOT winning a title this year . therefore why in the world do you give up a huge piece like this for NOTHING , when we are depleted as it is ?

Do any of you really think RAY FELTON has the POTENTIAL of leading us to a CHAMPIONSHIP ?
Keeping Lin may not but we are taking 2 steps backward from the 1 step forward we took last year .

Do i have to remind ANYONE how bad we looked without Lin last year and how good we looked WITH him ??

I agree with all your points, but that doesn't justify quitting on the franchise.

Maybe not .
But Ive just grown tired of this organization . Dolan is clueless , I see NO direction . Hes happy with 1st round exits as long as hes paid .

I wont jump ship to some random team , could care less what the nets do .
This is just one more bonehead move over the course of many years that have pushed me over the edge .
I feel cheated for putting in so much into this franchise emotionally and getting nothing in return .

People always talk about the Knicks being so historical .
HISTORICALLY INCOMPETENT .

I was on the Knicks bandwagon because of Lin so it's okay for me to be done with the Knicks but if you're a real Knicks fan... Come on.

Ok cool, well don't follow the Knicks then. How about starting this by not posting on a forum about the team you are not following.

I'm a Knicks fan not a Lin fan so if he's gone so be it, time to move on. I'll root against everytime we play the Rockets as I should as a Knicks fan!

I've been a fan from Derek Harper to Doc Rivers to Charlie Ward to Howard Eisley to Stephon Marbury to Ray Felton to Jeremy Lin. Never wavered. Couldn't not be a Knicks fan if I tried. Never had to try; the Knicks have been in my blood since I knew I had blood. I was a Knick fan when Ewing was here guaranteeing championships, and I was a Knick fan when we foolishly traded him to Seattle.

I may not like the decisions of the executives, but the Knicks are like family. Regardless of the bullshyt they pull, I'll always be a Knicks' fan. I don't understand how someone can be so upset about Lin they'd relinquish their allegiance. I'm in favor of any move that makes my team better, and if the executives think letting Lin go makes us better in the long term, I'm with it.

I almost wish jerseys didn't have names on the back of them at all.

I will not stop being a fan of course. But I will stop going to any Knicks game until they prove that they can win big time.

What earth do you live on that makes you comfortable with Dolans decisions?

I am a Giants fan first and a Lin fan second...

All I can say is the Rockets made a brilliant move in raising Jeremy's contract value. He's worth every penny of his contract.

I'm a Lin fan, so I'll watch his games for sure, whatever team it is. But I totally see myself remaining a Knick fan. I've always loved the MSG, city and the team. Totally crossed my finger Knicks match :D
