Heat to play two preseason games in China

Heat scheduled for two preseason games in China

As expected, the Heat have been scheduled for a pair of games in China during the 2012 preseason. A source familiar with the scheduling confirmed Sunday to the Sun Sentinel that the Heat will play the Los Angeles Clippers in those games, Oct. 11 in Beijing and Oct. 14 in Shanghai.

Bloomberg Businessweek also reported the scheduling Sunday, with that report confirmed by NBA International President Heidi Ueberroth.

While the Heat's preseason schedule will not be released until after the NBA 2012-13 regular-season schedule is released in August, the Heat are expected to play three home preseason games at AmericanAirlines Arena, the two games in China, as well as exhibition games in Atlanta, Kansas City and Raleigh, N.C.

Between this and the Olympics Lebron is going to be veeeerrrry tired. I wonder if Spo will just sit him for the first week of the season or something?

I hope he plays the Wade role of 2008. Coming off the bench.

Starting lineup of:

Paul
Bryant
Durant
Melo
Chandler

That would help LeBron out. And I think as long as the games are blowouts, he wouldn't have to play as much. And I think in between the Olympics and training camp, he will have a good month or even more to rest and do some light training. But yeah, next year Spo needs to play him around 32-33 minutes per game.

It's going to be much easier to rest LeBron next year mid-season. A) we are deeper and B) we don't have the pressure of getting that first title.

LOL I completely forgot about Wang ZhiZhi.

Back in 2004-2005, this guy was the butt of all jokes on the Heat board on RGM.

(Yes, I was a member when we signed Shaq. Don't ask what happened).
