I watched Lin's game because of his heart and passion to basketball.
And the one who wrote this is the real hater based on color of skin

All of my favorite players are black. I don't have a favorite white player. Is that disgusting?
I understand that you dislike Lin's contract and while you make some valid points, please don't push the race card.

Reading comprehension guys... seriously. smh Well I guess quite a few people here are "ESL" no biggie

Its pretty damn clear I was writing only to that Adrenaline character, based on the hate he has been spewing in the past two pages.

Don't put words in my mouth... "push the race card?" "dislike Lin's contract?"

Where'd you get all that from?

To be clear, he has both Taiwanese and Chinese heritage. However, he's not like a Taiwanese national only like Jet Chang. Even if he was, being from Taiwan does not mean they don't have Chinese fans, since there are Taiwanese celebrities who are popular in China as well, i.e. Jay Chou.

Well with the antics the Knicks are pulling it is likely they will save the Rockets from this contract.

Jeremy Lin: A One-Man, Global Economic Stimulus Package

- He will boost the Knicks’ revenue by $10-20 million this season due to merchandise and playoff revenue (playoffs that otherwise the team would not have reached);

- He will boost the Knicks’ 2012-13 revenue by $25-50 million above what it otherwise would have been as merchandise sales and ticket prices rise, and as the team’s media rights rise;

- He will boost the league’s revenues in 2012-13 by $40-80 million largely due to his impact on global interest in the Lin and Knicks brand;

- He will earn between $10-20 million in endorsement income by summer 2013.

For this American-born man with family ties to the Far East, his economic impact upon various facets of basketball’s economy and beyond is shooting Far North of expectations that any of us – including him – likely had.

You should slap your English teacher...

I as a fan don't care about marketability of a player on my team, why should I?

We are in no danger of losing this franchise over funding, hence I don't care.

Les won't have to pay Lux tax cause iirc we are NOT over the cap.

Les is a billionaire, and I'm positive he didnt make his fortune off this team, & from what I understand a fan 1st.

If anything having as you say a "cash cow" on a team who is NOT the worlds greatest player(Bron) just means we as fans will spend more money to watch a team that is not a Championship level team.

Like Cavs fans spend 10x the amount to see the Heatles in Cleveland... for what!?! To watch their team get smashed by double digits! For a chance to take a glimpse at "The Bron"...

Honestly your the only who has been in here bad mouthing, the country(which I assume you live in), This team.

Talking about things that happen between Lin/Melo & the Kincks MONTHS ago, that no one outside of NY would even care about.

Making cryptic racial comments, and for some reason acting like your some Overlord of the fanboys...

All there other fanboys dont come in with such trash talk.

Agree with Rocketsballin but the power could go to his head. Instead of his signature response to trades he does not like he might just ban them. :lol:

I go with Mr. E, -x- and Moofs

Also guy that rarely post but when he does it is like 4 post in one, Spolgar. enjoy what he says.

id rather be crappy at english than asking people if they want fries with their order...

yes it must hurt your feelings as a basketball purest...

but tough sheit buddy

bottom line Les Alexander is making a play for Lin and willing to overpay to get Lin here... obviously too a person like you ...you think Lin is over hyped...

so why is it so hard for you to believe Lin has marketability... and that is a big factor why Alexander is willing to overpay..

frankly I doubt Alexander really cares what either of us thinks...

however you can just keep pretending it isnt about Lin's marketability

Because Morey wanted Lin last year. He never wanted to cut as I understand but had to since he was unguaranteed. What Morey is what Morey gets. :lol:
