Clyde Drexler, 1992
30 years old, born june 1962
25 points per game FG 47%, 3point 33%, FT 79%, reb 6.6, ast. 6.7

playing on a 'run and gun' team that pushed the tempo and scored a ton off transition with guys like Kersey and Porter running the break and finishing at the rim.

KObe Bryant, 2012
33 years old, born 1978
27.9 points per game FG 43%, 3 point 30%, FT .845 , reb 5.4 , asst. 4.6

playing in a prodding, half court team with busted point guard play.

Honestly.....STFU if you think Kobe is so 'over the hill' that he can't hang with a 30 year old Drexler..... It's pathetic. Kobe is certainly in his 'decline' but he was SO good between age 25 and 30 that people now completely trash his current game despite the fact that he's really just now coming back to the pack a bit after flying HIGH ABOVE THE REST....His game between 2002-2008 was AS GOOD as Jordan's game between 1990-1994; some might call it blashemy but I watched both of them religiously during their careers...RELIGIOUSLY.

Also Magic was still a top 3 player in the world coming off b2b MVPs and only sat out that year because of the HIV test.

Someone had the nerve to call Barkley non athletic lol and lets get this straight 1992 Clyde is as good or better then either Wade or Kobe of 2012. Trying to say a 33 year old kobe would be close to a prime 29 year old MJ is crazy.

The 92 team with MJ and pippen on the perimeter wouldnt have any trouble with athletisism.......this D howard talk can end to because D rob was everybit the athlete and had twice the game.......D rob would murder that guy

No Question Barkley had crazy athleticism for a guy who is 6'4 1/2" and 260 pounds. I"ve stood next to Charles many times, including during his playing days; and NO HE'S NOT 6'6....He was a skywalker during his 76ers days in the mid-late 80s....but his lift and speed was already in noticed decline by 92...He adapted his game with better moves, outside shooting, post ups etc as he slowed down... MY point is this: Charles at 29 years old would've gotten ABUSED by the current FREAK LeBron James with his 6'8 265 pound Karl Malone like adonis muscular frame, Point guard skills, 2 guard speed, stifling D.... it would be a freaking massacre between those two...

Yeah if your talking about playing CB at the SF position and allowing them to go 1 vs 1 on the perimeter but you know that wont be the case. Only way they match up is if the 12' team wants to go small and play LBJ at the PF position but then that plays right into what the 92' team would want to do. CB has muscled down low with 6'8 265 pound guys his whole career and did okay with it and no he wasnt in decline man he was only 29 and in his peak.he change his game to suit his new team but he wasnt less athletic or as you say a "noticed decline" LBJ does okay guarding PF in the 00's or 10's but lets get this straight CB is in a whole other league then what LBJ can handle down low. On the offensive side LBJ will have to play down low or take him out to the perimeter and show his mediocre jump shot with Ewing or D rob waiting for the drive.

Im not saying CB is better but LBJ doesnt want any part of him at the PF position and the 92 team isnt dumb enough to allow him to get isolated on the perimeter.

Kobe said they can take them in a game, he never said take them in a series. If you are playing best out of 10 I'm sure the current team can win a few. The dream team isn't unbeatable, but they may be the best assembled.
