The refs have been brutally bad. These fouls wouldn't be called in a real game.

Beal wants it. He's going to be great next to Wall. Dog tired and putting in work.

Beal's shot is off but he's finding other ways to score. And he's hustling his b-a-l-l-s off in a summer league game. Do you think Nick Young or any of the other stooges would do that in a meaningless game?

You are right, but honestly Vesely is drained. I don't get why he hasn't been subbed yet and I like Beal's handles so far.

Ves might set the record for most fouls in a 5-game summer league. Kids needs more upper body strength, that's obvious.

Maybe Ves is distracted by female ref. She's not bad looking. :)

Still an encouraging game, IMO. Team had no legs but showed a lot of fight against a pretty tough squad.

Mack started really poorly but picked it up at the end and Beal, though his shot was a bit off (all were close) competed and took it to the rack. Vesely and Singleton played decently, but were clearly tired.

Ernie put together such a bad squad that it forced the starting guys to play way too many minutes. Normally you'd see one of these guys sit out though this is their first summer league considering they had none last year.

I don't think Beal, Vesley, and Singleton played at all in the 4th quarter yesterday. The D league players have more to prove than the Wizards who probably got a little bit too comfortable after a win against the Rockets (who most people thought they would lose to).

Anyways, it is summer league, so even if the guys get tired or w/e, it really doesn't matter.

Nice Beal highlight package here. Really nice stuff from the 19-year old.
