One topic per 2-3 days. It's going to pick up during the week, lots of stuff to start rumors about. I'd say we're at 43 by Sunday next week.

What if the Knicks DO decide to match it.....you are really gonna say those things before it's even been decided? Wow...sounds like the kind of guys Dwight wants to play with.

 Will be funny if they match... if Knicks have chemistry issues the media will get obsessed with the atrocious contract and the team may implode.

I really like Parsons' game. Would be nice to have him at SF next season

And no, I'm not a Gator or even live in Orlando.

I couldn't agree more. At least Davis will teach these kids about sacrifice and hard work, Hedo is lazy, makes bad decisions, and is an awful basketball player. I think he is probably my least favorite player in Magic history...I mean, Houston fans, uh... he can still help you contend! Haha

Hedo was extremely crucial to our Finals run. Least favorite in history?? Wow...

Agree 100%
Hedo was a sensational player during his first stint with the Magic. During the finals run, he was the guy I wanted to have handling the ball in the closing minutes. He was the definition of clutch playmaking during those playoffs.

He's faded with age. No argument there. But the lack of respect he gets from some of the posters is outrageous.

That's all i've been trying to say with my earlier posts.
I love Ray Allen. i agree with his decision.

But the people in Boston do not. At all. Half the fans will boo him on his next trip to Beantown. They hold grudges up there.

Oh, I see... I thought you were agreeing with them. Well, in that case, who cares what they think. They're over-emotional and ignoring all the reasons why he actually chose Miami. Boston fans are looking very foolish right now. Besides, I think they're better off with Terry than Allen. He's a little younger, could be more durable over the next couple years, and he can actually get his own shot. Likewise, Allen is a better fit in Miami.

There was actually method to the thread's madness...

it started out with a, "Man, if only Dwight had the classiness Ray Allen has"...

Which became... "the people of Boston kind of hate Ray Allen, in their irrational eyes he belongs in the same class as Dwight..."

which became...
Never mind. We were just bored.

I am not sure it's going to matter. I have been saying for some time now that I thought RDV was instructing Hennigan to do everything he can to keep Howard. I think that has been the holdup. Rich wants a title NOW! But he is under the mistaken notion that Howard will bring him his coveted title. And that is the hole in his reasoning. To many bridges have been burned. And I believe by his words and actions that Howard is more concerned with endorsement money than a title. And he has the nerve to say that the Magic are only worried about making money? RDV has paid the luxury tax how many times?

The team has lost money! Rich tried very hard to get Howard some help...and grossly overpaid for it. And then the perpetual malcontent has the nerve to say that the Magic did NOT get the players HE wanted. Like all he has to do is order the Magic F/O to go out and get so-and-so and other teams will willingly give those players up. I swear Howard has to have the IQ of a Pez dispenser. And of course EVERYONE else is to blame for the Magic not having won a title...that is everyone but His Highness. And he wants to be the "GO-TO-GUY." Now how many of you, taking your emotions out of it, really think Dwight is a "go-to-guy?" Especially at the end of games? That was, and has been, Orlando's problem lately. No legitimate go to guy at the end of games. Howard's free throw woes are well known, as is his propensity for turning the ball over as soon as he puts it on the floor. Dwhite is a monster on the defensive end, and the offensive boards but his offensive game more than 5 feet from the basket is severely lacking.

And don't get me wrong. I do not hate Dwight. I think he has some serious character flaws and is very weak willed and easily influenced by others. I think he is driven mainly by greed. And I see nothing wrong with anyone wanting to maximize their earning potential but the manner in which Dwight has pursued that has, in my opinion, irreparably harmed the team and his reputation. He is so self absorbed and narcissistic. He definitely needs a new agent...and some new advisors. But I do not think it is good for him, or the Magic, for him to remain here. It is sad, really. Because I really thought Dwight was one heck of a decent guy when he joined the Magic. Unfortunately his weak will left him open to the wrong advise from the wrong people and greed became his priority. Ironically if he had been patient, he could have had both success and fortune. He will certainly get his monetary reward. And has done well in that regard to this point. As far as his title, he will have to get to a team with some other stars who can get that title for him. Because I do not think he has the ability to lead a team. He is to easily lead.

EDIT: I edited my post into paragraphs to placate the obsessive/compulsive's and pseudo intellectuals who seem to be more interested in proper grammar and sentence structure then hoops!
