I can't imagine Houston passing up on that deal.

Kobe likes him

The kobe interview happened after houston's win over the lakers on march 20. Both kobe and parsons played 35 minutes in the game, and based on the interview, it would seem that Parsons was the designated defender for Kobe during the game. Although Kobe scored 29 points, he only shot 10-27 (37%).

Here is a clip from their following game on April 6, another win against the Lakers. Kobe had a better scoring game due to making 11-11 from the line, although he shot only 8-20 (40%) from the field. However, he only had 1 3PM and 2 rebounds and nothing else.

The following clip shows a play of him defending Kobe and from what the announcers are saying, it would seem that his length really bothers Kobe. If you notice during the clip, Courtney Lee was in the game at the same time, but Parsons is still the one assigned to guard Kobe, which would seem to show how good his defense is. Also, it shows a real nice sequence of him posting up Kobe. Enjoy!

Looking at the finalists for HC, how do the Magic think any of these guys are better than what SVG is? I mean really, SVG should have never been fired. Dwight is leaving anyways, so its not like he has to coach him again.

If D12 gets traded, it would be nice to have SVG back at least for 1 year (his contract), but face it, he was fired and we wont hire him again, so let's move on.

Until August 3rd. Noticing that Donatas is the only rookie that the Rockets signed i'd say they are pretty high on him and wont trade him for D12, they want to pair him WITH Howard. All the other rookies are available, there is no point to only sign him and not the other rookies. I'd love to have Donatas here, but it's very very unlikely and by the end of this week we will have D12's situation addressed, IMO.

We are not getting Donatas guys. If Dwight were on a 4 year contract then yes, we could take Houston to the shed but he's not so we have to temper our expectations. Jones is a long shot because we can't get him till August 3, and God knows i don't want this to drag out another 3 weeks. Parsons+Lamb+Morris+3 Picks+Cap space. More than enough.

i do think that the only coaches that are better than SVG in the league today are gregg popovich, george karl, rick carlisle and MAYBE doc rivers - so SVG is a top 5 coach, having said that he's also been voted multiple times (twice as far as i can remember, perhaps even more) as the coach that players DON'T want to play for - if we're going to start fresh and attract FAs in the future market, that had to be a point to consider.

This website is wrong, there is no report in the Internet saying he was signed, it's just on RealGM.

look at trade checker on here. Jones has a number next to his name. anything other than 0.0 means hes signed.
