Lets just hire Jacque Cousteau and get this over with so we can tank all the way to the bottom of the sea.

Re: Official Speculation Thread (Pt.XXXIX Off-Season Edition
For a moment if we assume what we heard from Devin Ebanks is true that he has a deal to sign but they are waiting because he may be traded to the Magic and what the Lakers GM said was true about they are wanting to strengthen their bench, it would seem like this would be a suitable trade for the Lakers.
Lakers Trade: ($28,366,962 in salary)
Bynum, World Peace, Ebanks & McRoberts
Magic Trade: ($34,088,225 in salary)
Howard, BBD, JRich, QRich
Yes I am sure the Magic would want some type of future first round pick, but the Lakers have none to give. It does give the Magic Bynum and hopefully he would want to stick with the Magic.
If Bynum Sticks it gives the magic about $15,000,000 in guaranteed contracts on the books for next summer. If the cap does not move again that gives us the chance to potentially chase 2 to 3 MAX free agents one of which would be Bynum. I say 3 because Hedo and Duhon would be special expiring deals that we could move because not only do they expire, they have buy out money for much less. If the Magic have a chance to keep Bynum long term I do believe this is a better bet than the Rockets trade.
I was reading a part about why the Rockets would even entertain bring in Dwight with no promises and someone wrote because over the History of the draft only 6 players that were drafted #1 won a Championship with their original team. i.e. You have a greater chance to get what you need through free agency than through the draft.
Now if the Lakers wanted to sweeten the deal by adding Gasol and we ship Duhon & Hedo, then this would be a no brainer for the Magic over the Houston deal. Lets just see what Henny does. This trade is what his legacy with the Magic will be built on.

But there being more to the story than just a career decision? I'm not buying it. I think the smart money is on Dwight staying in Orlando, and that right now Orlando is trying to manipulate an extension. Even if they don't get it, where is he going to go, and for less money? Where is here, for max money.
he will go to another city, get endorsements and lose approx $7mil after he gets his next contract. He has been convinced by his agent and his entourage that he was wronged by the team and he will leave.
fixed. I put a lot of this on Fegan essentially jostling him into a corner.
its not just his agent. The ownership left a bad GM in place too long without putting at least 1 really good player next to him.

How well are people received if they post quotes from the fake Brousard?
Aren't they repeated told that they are not worthy of posting?
Feel free to keep posting your own fake tweets, just don't expect it to have the effect you hope for.
Already. On the foe list...How annoying.

So, you are fine with someone posting that (Sources say Dwight will never report to the Magic)
But, you are angry with (Sources say Magic would fine or Suspend Dwight for not reporting to the Magic) which is true with all 31 teams in the league with their players.
I just don't get the rationale people have with wanting to read false reports. I am messing with the idea that some of you are following no name source bullcrap. Go ahead and foe me on your list and just keep your reading to Ping, Meije, Biatche, Rudolph and Kennedy with their sources. I bet anyone here that more of my fake tweets become true at as higher percentage than any of those jokes.
I never put anyone on a foe list, because I am not scared of anyones posts. But, for those that are insecure, I understand.

Anyway, a little disappointed that JH is out of the running. I was pulling for him just because he was really nice to us when we ran into him in downtown.....it absolutely had nothing to do with his ability to coach.

I had zero confidence in Shaw or Hornaceck as a head coach. I am glad they are out of the running. Too bad for Malone, but he has the GS connect of which I want nothing to do with. At least Vaughn has the tutelage of Popovich of which is the best coach in the business. Henny is a product of the Spurs also. I can see where this leads.

I'm fine with Dwight sitting out the entire season, assuming for some insane reason we don't end up trading him.

Re: Official Speculation Thread (Pt.XXXIX Off-Season Edition
I don't think the league would take too kindly to a superstar under contract refusing to play. He can say he'll sit all he wants, but if the Magic tell him to play he's going to play. It's not as simple as "i don't want to play, they don't have to pay me. I'll just sit out a year."
I'd wager the NBA would levy some very harsh penalties on a player of that magnitude pulling shenanigans of that nature. He'd be made an example of so players didn't think they could do this whenever they want and if they can take the financial hit.

Dwight sitting out for the season and then re-signing with us is the best case scenerio. Keep D12 and get the #1 pick! haha

I'm not buying that Dwight rumor. No one else has said anything about it yet.

Re: Official Speculation Thread (Pt.XXXIX Off-Season Edition
Put it this way, if someone overhead him even saying this to a friend even as a joke, his agent, Magic representatives, David Stern and NBA execs would have probably called him already telling him to shut the heck up for being such an idiot. Dwight values his reputation over everything else as that is his money maker. He claims to not want to be like Lebron, but is becoming worse. He really needs to rebuild his image after all this is over with.

Me either. Dwight really needs to rebuild his image and he knows that. A comment like that makes him look worse.
