Hell get me Mo Cheeks instead of the remaining 3. He is an assistant coach for the Thunder. The remaining 3 have little expiernce, other than Curry. And I don't want Curry. Out of those 3 I'd take Hunter, but I'd take Cheeks over those 3.

i can't imagine even with dwight being the baby that he is, sitting out a full season because he doesn't want to play for us. Its his job. I don't like my job but I still go and do it everyday. I would honestly loose the the last remaining shred of respect I have for him.

me either. I just read it on one of these random pages in this thread. I don't even know where the report or anything came from, lol. Would be a complete bitch move but yeah you're right. I couldn't even imagine that!

Dwights winds have def been strong enough to classify him as a hurricane.

No disrespect to the posters, but when I saw the posts about who wanted who out of the three, I got a little bummed because I just feel Stan is getting disrespected. But, I do realize "how do you replace a coach like SVG?" There aren't many out there that could.

I would love it if we still had Stan, but aren't we trading Dwight? Possibly to Houston? Stan doesn't play rookies, remember?

Stan is a great coach but had a little too much rogue in him. I loved the fact that he spoke his mind but let's be honest, in a public position such as he had, it's not always the best thing to say exactly what you think.

He doesn't have much of a history of developing young talent. Unless you count Wade and Dwight I suppose...

Do you guys think Stan would be good for a rebuild? As much as I love Stan, I think we needed to go in a different direction. These guys are unknowns but presumably they have the ability to have a relationship with their players. Wrong or right , part of being an NBA head coach is to manage a bunch of total ego freaks. The players didn't turn Stan off just this last year, this has been occurring for nearly 3 years by my observation.

Imagine Stan with a roster of all rookies.... He would have quit the team himself

I waited until after every game to hear him speak. Even when he pissed me off, I enjoyed it. I even DVR'd them when at the games so I could watch afterwards. He was the best. But, I agree, he never plays rookies except for CLee.

Great point and pretty much the main reason he was let go. SVG has got to learn that no matter how good of a coach you are, you still have to have the people skills to keep a team together.

Stan is a top 5 coach in this league. That being said he probably wouldn't be the best for a rebuild.

True  ... I just thought that Depression was more poetic and apropos.
