Too late now that it is out there. There are Houston, Lakers and Nets trolls all over this board. I bet you see that DM on the General Board by now.

Soon, Mass Hysteria.

If Dwight wasn't freaking out then, he will be soon.

He only has himself to blame, if they are in fact real. Why on earth would he send crap like that to anyone this day and age?

This isn't normal. Normally when players leave a franchise, there isn't always such venom involved.

Seriously, think about it........It really says something that we don't have 1 player's jersey retired. We have to be one of the few teams that don't in the league.

We have a winner.

Why would Dwight care if this leaked?

If anything, it makes the organization look bad?

It is an interesting perspective, but if you stop and think about it of the 4 we're talking about here, the first 3 have all had similar issues after they left us as well. Shaq burned bridges on his way out of every stop he made (and there were ALOT of them), Penny was a prima donna and never had an impact after leaving the Magic, TMac's tenure in Houston was a dud and he left on bad terms, and now Dwight.

It may just be bad luck. Did we build the Orena on an ancient Indian burial ground or something?

The Dwight Howard spellcheck found no errors in those tweets.

Say all we want about how Devos has paid money to win. Something is wrong inside the Amway arena, this is the same owner who insulted Shaq, Penny, T-Mac, Hill, and now Howard.

The irony that I keep telling people is that out of all of our superstars. Only one hasn't been injured...see Shaq. Think about it.

Exactly.

And we have had better players than any of those teams have.

Something needs to change, here......

Why? Dwight has looked like a douche for the last year and a half, this just looks like him trying to save face to me. Why would the Magic call him more than a few times when he has demanded a trade for the second time? The thing about only caring about money is obviously bull because RDV has spent out the ass trying to win.

Dwight is about to officially ruin his own reputation and that of the Magic at the same time.

He sounds like a complete idiot. He reminds me of the lawyer guy in Idiocracy that pretty much says "I like money" throughout the movie.

I don't see why those dm's would be bad for everyone to see, what did you expect him to say? Of course he is going to make himself look like the good guy. As far as his health is concerned I'm sure those involved are very aware of the health and risks involved in trading for him. The guy is chiseled from stone his recovery will be successful and he will be dominant once again, he has too good of a work ethic. After having said all of that, I still hate him and hope he is gone asap :D .

I don't like the three finalists for our HC gig. Two of the guys were playing in the NBA just two or three years ago and have little experience and the other failed in a one year stint. We fired SVG for this?

That's a good point, actually......

I think Penny's injuries are what did him in, though.

Superstars very rarely ever leave on good terms, on any team. The star's personality also is a huge factor. Small market teams all have this problem, luck is important too.

Don't forget that The Big Self Promotion burned his bridges in his subsequent stops as well.

(looks like Yosemitee and I are on the same page - that's what happens when read a post, click reply and don't come back to it for a few minutes :D)
