And the Kings just signed Aaron Brooks, an upgrade over Jameer Nelson.Hennigan made a mistake in resigning Nelson.

Exactly.

And we have had better players than any of those teams have.

Something needs to change, here......

Something has changed, we finally have a GM with a plan, a considered approach, and a CEO that doesn't play Paddle.

Seriously, there have been changes, we fired the coach and GM. If Dwight stopped and thought about it, considered what he's doing to his reputation, he might listen to Henny's plan and give it a chance.

This isn't normal. Normally when players leave a franchise, there isn't always such venom involved.

Seriously, think about it........It really says something that we don't have 1 player's jersey retired. We have to be one of the few teams that don't in the league.

It is an interesting perspective, but if you stop and think about it of the 4 we're talking about here, the first 3 have all had similar issues after they left us as well. Shaq burned bridges on his way out of every stop he made (and there were ALOT of them), Penny was a prima donna and never had an impact after leaving the Magic, TMac's tenure in Houston was a dud and he left on bad terms, and now Dwight.

It may just be bad luck. Did we build the Orena on an ancient Indian burial ground or something?

T-Mac was suspended in Houston.

While there were other players involved as well ... but didn't T-Mac have part in the player revolt in Detroit?

Is this the only topic that moves to post? How every FA PG is better than Jameer?

Dwight is mad because he didn't get to fly in the private team jet to LA for his surgery. He doesn't care about Rob's plan.

Jammer Nelson is not getting better, he is an undersized, injury prone player with an $18 million contract.Somebody will say we brought him back for his leadership but, I`ve never seen any in-game leadership .

honestly, that's some grimey stuff to leak private messages like that. Dwight is an idiot for trusting a fan and saying what he said, but the dude is foul for leaking the private messages.

I'm just salty cause I wouldn't want some ish like this to blow up and mess up our possible houston trade.

if it was a presser, Dwight would be rolled out in a wheelchair by Fegan, while Rudolph washed his feet with a hot towel.

Shaq clashed with his superstar sidekick for several seasons, but was fine with it until the Lakers told him they wanted him to defer to Kobe more and that they didn't want to pay him his next big extension. I wouldn't say he left LA on bad terms, but if he did, he had a reason to do so, especially since he went on to win a ring two seasons later. Issues he had later (with Miami/Phoenix/Cleveland/etc) probably had more to do with the fact he couldn't accept he was in the twilight of his career - so it's not an apt comparison.

Penny and Tmac went on to play with their next teams for several seasons without problems. they were both injury riddled, so it's hard to compare the two of them to Dwight at this point in his career.

there is a BIG difference with the way players leave our team and the way they leave others. Melo left Denver on relatively good terms, and i'm sure he gave them plenty of notice he wasn't going to extend. Bosh left Toronto as a FA, and we haven't heard a peep from their owner/management. Jordan went to play with Washington, and we didn't hear a bad word.

we had Weisbrod taking shots at Tmac in the media during the whole dispute. we had Otis taking shots at Dwight in the media during the whole dispute. you don't think that kind of unprofessionalism and arrogance is a pretty good indication of how things are done inside the Magic? even if it's not a DeVos doing it directly, it's the people they put in charge that are. they put these people in charge because they feel they reflect their values and beliefs - and obviously, arrogance is appealing to them.

let's bring it all back to this point. Dwight tells the team he's unhappy and wants changes - he gets none.

how do you put that on Dwight?

Another player better than Jameer on a Cheap, Short, Great contract. Nice to see teams spending their money wisely while we blow our load over Jameer.

Though as each day goes on without his contract, I get a little happier.
