i dont blame any1 for being in shocked

simply b/c it makes 0 sense not to match

the tax too high in year 3? not happy with lin lack of loyalty? match the deal and ship him out in a year

to let him go for nothing doesnt make sense

Exactly. Even if it's for a first round pick..... Hell, it could be Houston next off season fr Lamb. We just won't be able to use it in a sign and trade right?

which is why i believe they will match. thus far, anything that anyone has heard has been pure speculation. the felton move was to supplement the 2 position since we did not match fields.

Even though all available evidence points to the Knicks not matching, I just can't get my brain to believe it.

Your right, I'm thinking MLB. Lin was considered a 2nd year player last year

Realize too that if the Knicks don't match they might be granting Lin his wish, he might not want to return now.

The last time I felt like this was September 11, 2001 when I woke up and turned on the TV.

A) Knicks underachieve

We'll set a record for most fans lost in a year.

Now since we're playing with imaginary scenarios let's try this sequence

A) Knicks overachieve
B) Nets underachieve
C) Lin levels out as a solid PG but not great

Cool game.
C- Turner | Wiseman
PF- Hunter |Clowney | Fleming
SF- Strus | George
SG- Bridges | Dick | Bogdanovic
PG- Haliburton | Sasser

Y'all can sig this---Knicks will match Houston, Fatty Felton and Kidd will mostly man the point, and Lin will play mostly off guard.

We have people throwing out stuff like "if Lin is so good why didn't he win player of the month??" "Why didn't he win all-NBA 3rd Team?" But the "why didn't he make the all-rookie team?" Takes the cake as far as silly ways of dismissing Lin's performance last year.

WE TOLD HIM TO. WE SAID WE'RE NOT GOING TO "BID AGAINST OURSELVES". GO SET YOUR MARKET VALUE. JESUS H. CHRIST. STOP TRYING TO SCAPEGOAT AND BLAME LIN.

We took every measure to fck ourselves. It sounds more and more like the Knicks don't and never really wanted Lin back. And I don't get it.

dude he set his market with the first agreement (3 years 19 million with a 9 million dollar team option).

he then felt the need to accept more...fair enough he has every right to do that, but he then risk the chance of the knicks matching.

he made his bed

Thats pure speculation, you have no idea how it went under the table. It well could have been Rockets tricked Knicks by leaking out the initial verbal agreement, then up the offer by the time Lin signs it --- since it was the only offer on the table, Lin had no choice.

The fact the Knicks offered 1 year qualifying didnt help either.
