I'm convinced if they don't match, it has nothing to do with money. It tells me they think Felton gives them a better chance to win. Look at what's happened so far. We went hard after Nash. We signed Kidd and Camby. We're trying to win NOW. And they don't have enough faith that Lin is the right guy for the job. Chemistry issues with Melo probably played a role too.

But life goes on. Saying this is like September 11 is one of the dumbest and most disrespectful things I've ever read here. Shame in you KG!! Take your meds bro, I'm worried about you!! Life and Knicks basketball will go on. It's not that serious. We're not losing Magic Bird!!

Back to sports. People can feel free to vent at me by PM but go back to the discussion at hand.

So when I stop rooting for them, that'll be the end of my relationship with my father. I realize you guys didn't know that but it is what it is.

It's a personal thing. This is devastating to me and goes way beyond sports. It's about my family actually.

I'll apologize again. But I didn't mean anything by it so please let it go. Two wrongs don't make a right.

I get it now. Your father is Jimmy Dolan and you can no longer see him because you're against the direction of the team ? Jimmy told you when you stop rooting for the Knicks you will no longer be tolerated at the mansion ungrateful child !

Why are you trying to kick a man when he's down?

I'm trying to cheer him up with a joke. Obviously it was intended as a joke. No big deal. I'm sure KG understood it that way.

one of them's gotta be worse, right?

Redskins are in my opinion, but hey thats just my opinion. Knicks where in the finals a little over a decade or so...when was the last time Redskins where in the Super Bowl? Just saying

I truly think we bring him back. Stock already went down 60 cents (I think) today -- ~50 million dollars down the drain. Dolan may be stupid, but I don't think he's completely an incompetent boob. You can only bleed money before you decide to do something...especially considering how much money he made from Lin.

Linsanity is causing insanity. See this is why we need to match because Lin brings out the emotion in people...And in a competitive nature, Emotion is needed...

The flip side to all that is one thing people are forgetting, that this is a game. It is meant to be fun for all those entertained by it. And right now no one here is having any fun.

If that was the case why wasn't he targeted earlier in the FA process?

Most we can offer year one is MLE (5.2).

Thanks for the reply. I figured it wasn't possible, but it may have been crazy enough to work.

At this point, I think Jeremy Lin should try to organize a players strike to renegotiate the CBA to eliminate poison pill contracts.

Think about it, Lin represents the common NBA man, the 4-12 man rotation pieces that make up the silent majority of the league.

Owners locked us out for 30 games this year, time for the players to give them a taste of their own medicine.

Im sure he was talking to you referring to Dolan being his pops... no one should suffer verbal abuse like that.
