Real good pick up, Jamison has a game that will age well. He is a classic stretch 4 and should be good for 10/5 off the bench.

People forget that we pretty much only need him for 20-24 minutes a game, and he'll probably be playing next to Bynum or Gasol the entire time. Not to mention the easy looks Nash/Kobe will get him...All he has to do is make wide open threes and occasionally put the ball on the floor and take pressure off the big 4.

Dude GTFO with that non sense. He was still putting up 17 PPG and grabing 6 RB per game last season.Yes his defense isn't that good and he's old at the age of 36 but still has a few years left in the tank. You really think that he can't help the Lakers at all coming off the bench ? even if his game declines he could still get you a dozen or so off the bench and straight the floor with his shoot.Plus keep in mind the Lakers last season had a **** bench and one if not the worst in the league.

The Lakers lack of a bench the last few seasons are the really reason why they haven't made another legit run at a title. With Jamison and maybe Mayo and a resigned Hill their bench would become one of the better ones in the league.

Great signing, especially at the vet min. Anybody is an improvement over their bench last year.

If it's true it's a great pickup, and at a discount whether he signed for the mini-MLE or the vet minimum. We really needed to improve our bench and this is a step in the right direction.

Good pickup

I don't care for that hometown "I want to play for the bobcats" bs he was spewing, but hey, he wants a ring, he deserves the opportunity to get a ring.

anyone saying this is a good pickup obviously didn't watch jamison last season. the guy has absolutely nothing left and can contribute nothing at this point of his career, He actually hurt the Cavs more than he helped them last season. He can't even hit open jumpers or free throws anymore. Lakers fans are going to be dissapointed if they're expecting anything more besides having jamison sit on the bench and keep it warm.

Jamison is a great fit off the bench. Nash really makes the most of a guy like that.

Love the pickup.

I'm expecting Hill to follow.

Someone who averaged 17PPG last season has nothing left ? Seriously wtf ? Obviously his scoring volume will decrease by at least 6PPG but at the same time I'm sure he will benefit from having guys like Nash and others around him and his efficiency will increase.

Lakers trying to become the best Old team ever. Winning a ring with the average age of 35. lol
