Might want to lock this or at least change the title:

Dave McMenamin ‏@mcten

Just talked to Mitch Kupchak about Antawn Jamison. He acknowledged interest but said: "We're not about to do anything. I would know."

It's not official yet. I read that he's just going to talk to Lakers tomorrow...

Dave McMenamin ‏@mcten

I told Mitch that he could just sing his UNC school song to confirm they got the Tarheel in Jamison if he preferred. He stayed silent.

Remember when the rumors of the Lakers signing Rasheed Wallace last year were being laughed at because he was too old?

He's only 37.

Seriously, The Lakers last year were horrible and there were still 3 games where it could have gone either way.

How official is this? I see nothing about it in the Twitter world. Not even from Lakers reports.

Mitch Kupchack cannot talk about any other player until they are signed and a part of the team. Hence Dave's tweet about singing the tarheel song afterwards.

What we know from reports is that Jamison wants to play with the Lakers and is going to meet Mitch tomorrow.

Poor Darius Morris, half the players on the team are old enough to be his dad.

Meh Mitch will never say anything until it's actually official. Jamison will probably sign his contract tommorow.

We don't even know if he signed with them yet lol, it's just another rumor. I don't think he's going to help the bench that much either...
