I wouldn't read too much into what he's saying as if it's breaking news.. He said he'd want Lin back right after he said the "ridiculous" comment too - it just went ignored.

And I suppose it's a nice thing that he's choosing to say "Lin wants to be back" and "Dolan wants him back" - but I doubt he's revealing too much about what will happen.. I doubt he even knows.. And is opting to be politically correct, as even saying 'no comment' would be chastised here.

After spending the last few days listening to Knicks fans calling up radio shows I kinda want to see them fall back into mid-2000's mode. These people are stupid and they deserve to be miserable. Fans like this truly don't deserve any kind of joy.

Are you kidding me? Based off what you guys posted, Melo had a horrible game tonight. He NEEDED to say something positive, or else the backlash would've been crazy. Could you imagine how bad he would've looked if he bashed base lin?

On a serious note, reading those quote brought a moist feeling to my eyes, and I had THE WIDEST grin tonight. I even had a little chub to be honest. Sick. I know, but you all are my brethren, and I figured you should know that.

Now... can I please get some sleep? I should've been sleeping 2 and a half hours ago... Mind you, I should've been studying all night. I got zilch of that ish done, cause I was manning the boards, reading every ounce of morsel that was written, from the garbage to this mana from Mr. Boones fingers. Thank you sir for getting the quotes I needed, and thank you Melo for stepping up. Now all we need is pork pockets to step up, do the right thing, and speed dial the NBA offices at 11:59:59, and say "Sike, Lin's staying in NY $@#$#@%." I am going to wait to it is official before I get all happy. Cannot count on tweets. It did take a while. He should have said it a couple of days earlier. Maybe he is just trying to get people off his back. Maybe he is busy with team USA. Maybe he is a part of the Knicks trolling the Rockets back.

I don't care if Melo is backtracking...as long as he means it and is willing to go to war with Lin and this team, that's all that matters. It never really made sense to replace Lin with Felton. Lin is a better player with more potential that people can root for. Lin and Melo should be able to help each other earn so much more money and get more playing success together. It should be a mutually beneficial relationship. Melo can't do it alone.
