You know what's be sick, but hilarious? If Melo pulled a Robert Randolph and tweeted: "Sike!"

I feel you.. the way this board and the majority if Knicks fans I heard on the radio (because I've been listening lately) turned on a kid who was a true underdog and brought so much excitement and hope to a team that is the laughing stock of league is just shameful.

It's pretty standard for guys to express frustration when the front office is getting rid of good players.

Majority just want him to say Lin should be part of the Knicks.

That's not how it comes off though.

Generally agree with you but I certainly don't recall this board--assuming we're talking about a critical mass that doesn't include the rando trolls--turn on Lin. In fact, I think the vast majority of this board--and those around this city--want the Knicks to match.

Does anyone care what JR Smith says?

JR Smith @ Jr Smith
Sorry about what I said towards Lin's contract. I was high as f***.

Get out of here... Respect, Courtesy, and a little appreciation for the kid that spared his reputation. Do you know how bad it would have been for Melo if we hadn't made the playoffs?

See I've got a bad habit... I remember too much. yeah it can be a bad habit and I can go through a roll call with the ink to back up what I just said.. but I'll wait until the time is more appropriate.

If what Melo is saying is 100% true, then what's the problem. Hurry up and re-sign him. If he wants back in, and Dolan wants him back in, there should be no problem. The luxury tax never stopped Dolan before so why should it stop him now.

Personally, I think most people on this board, whether they want to keep Lin or not, are at least reasonable and can formulate a coherent sentence. The callers on the radio are just stupid people.

i don't see why Carmelo would say he knows Dolan "definitely" wants Lin back if it wasn't true. I don't think Melo would just lie outright in this kind of situation.

Best case - were screwing over Houston by waiting the full three days while all the remaining guards (Felton, Aaron Brooks, Mayo) sign with other teams before matching.
