Agreed. I don't think it was the best decision in the basketball sense. The cheaper and shorter contracts that other people are getting would give us more flexibility and I think would have been the smarter way to go. But Jameer deserves it. With all the crap we're going through with Dwight, Jameer's kinda the anti-thesis of all that. It would not have felt right complaining about Dwight, and then not bringing Jameer back at a reasonable price.

Does Jameer have any in-game leadership? personally I`ve never seen it.

With SVG as coach, I don't expect too many players to do much in terms of directing other players during the game. SVG is pretty overbearing. Not saying whether it's a good or bad thing. But both Dwight and Jameer have said they made efforts earlier this year to try to get Stan to back off a little and let them lead. Didn't notice much difference, don't know if that was because Stan didn't let them, or if it's just difficult to change tendencies.

I don't see it as a good way to judge Jameer though.

not a bit excited with this. guys like brooks, felton etc got less than half of what Jameer's reported contract is.

They also are less capable as Jameer is.

and if we're starting over from scratch (houston trade), why do we need a more capable pg?

Hey I did it with MS Paint. Point is anyone with any small skill with photoshop could do it. However if I used twitter and could copy my screen shots like him, I could use the real retweeted Howard DM with the guy on the beach and make one from Howard that was 100% perfect.

I am not going to take Howard's side on this one, but he stopped tweeting for a reason and I can just see his agent and everyone in his circle roasting him for tweeting some no named foo; that will expose him.

One thing I know about people with money, athletes or whatever, is they DO NOT TRUST people outside their inner circle PERIOD. It makes no sense for Howard to go off like that to someone he is obviously not a friend with because the chances are high it gets out on the net.

If I was Markee I would be praying that Howard does not press charges if he really did fake it.
