Hassan Whiteside?

Post#1 » by Alex I Be » Mon Jul 16, 2012 10:38 pm

Kings released Whiteside to make room for Aaron Brooks. If the Dwight deal doesn't work out, I wouldn't mind Rox getting Whiteside and see what he can become. I don't think he really got a chance playing behind DaMarcus Cousins. Nice 7 foot project in my opinion. What we got to lose!!!

I think we're done with 7'0 projects for now, word to Hasheem Thabeet. If you're a big black guy and your NOT getting PT in the NBA it's because you're trash....

Thabeet signed a two year deal with the Western Conference Champions. Not that that means he can play but I don't think either he nor Whiteside have been given enough courttime to know for sure.

Hasheem "livin the Dream" Thabeet Appreciation Thread

This guy was the best cheerleader the Rockets have ever had. Always interested in watching the games. Guys look up to him everywhere, imagine being paid millions to be in the NBA and get courtside seats to every game. He was living the dream, all he had to do was show up to practice and mess around. Plus when he does have to play he'll just foul out instantly.

Like I said, livin the dream, no work or passion but still livin the life.

thank god i still remember that **** lmao

Wizards looking to amnesty Andray Blatche. We know he can play if he is in shape but he's a headcase. I think he can start at center.

He can play center just fine at 6'11/260+

If our offseason turns out to be a failure then I'm fine with picking up Whiteside. If we're going to tank, we better do it right.

That's the problems with NBA teams nowadays, no pride in their work. If you are going to tank, you must go all out. 100% effort is what we need. Anyone hit's 3 shots in a row, drag them from the court. Block a shot, instant suspension for "conduct detrimental to the team." All our Rookies must play 30 - 35 mins a game. Come on Houston, if you are going to fail, aim to do it right.

In saying this, my expectations for the season is probably the lowest they have ever been. I expect nothing, so will be happy with whatever good comes out of the season.

Why not? Someone will pick him up.

If we dont get Dwight or Bynum, then Whiteside would probably be our best prospect at Center.
