Royce Leather Gifts ‏@Royce_Leather
@IanBegley @BillyBauer1 @TheNBA_Insider I think he is the real deal! from speaking to him, he says Dolan has overruled Grunwald to get Lin

how will people justify their constant scapegoating? or will they just move over to Felton and Amare again?

i was just thinking the same thing. it would be ironic if dolan saved the day.

You mean famous - Knicks are gonna match, homie.

Good, positive attitude. I have the exact same feeling!

Nah we ain't matching I've been a Knick fan long enough to know how stupid this organization is.

If we match him, we'll have the deepest all-time PG depth... just 1 year after the opposite!

From Davis/Bibby/Douglas/Shump to Lin/Kidd/Felton/Prigioni... Mama mia!! :P

Lin/Kidd/Felton/Prigioni
Shump/JR/Kidd/Lin
Melo/White/Novak/Artest?
Amar'e/Melo/Novak/Copeland
Chandler/Camby/Thomas/Amar'e

=> That's championship caliber 15 member team!! Woody will be lucky to have 4 talented PG to make-up for his flaws in the offensive end. Show Time, Folks!!

So since I went to bed nothing new had happened. I've thought all along that they'd match, but I'm starting to have doubts now.

Just don't see it happening. Unless Dolan goes on a limb and says you know what I want him.

There is a lot of nonsense flying in the news but the Rockets upped the ante while the Knicks weren't seriously pursuing Lin.

Unless the Knicks want to eat the penalties for signing everyone but Lin, the Rockets have their new leader. I think its best they part ways. Melo needs uncontested power to be "the man".

Lin deserves a chance to run his own team his way with someone that is able to work with him and dominate at their own position.

“I don’t think this is about the money as much as it is Jim feeling that a player isn’t showing the Knicks the same loyalty they showed Lin,” said a person who has had business dealings with Dolan. “Don’t forget, the Knicks gave Jeremy Lin a chance. Then Jim has his basketball people telling him that Felton is every bit as good if not better than Lin so it makes the decision easier for him to make.

match Lin and sign an amnestied Artest or any other veteran like Hill, McGrady or Redd and that team is for real... I didnt invent anything more than the personnel that we have in disposal!! So keep your silly sarcasm for something and someone else!! Good luck!!

If the Knicks wanted to show loyalty to Lin they would have tried to lock him up when he went out on injury.

Unless your name is Tim Duncan, Paul Pierce, or Kobe Bryant, loyalty has no place in any kind of discussion with team management.

Yet another article that states we should match but contrary to what the News says, this writer thinks matching helps us get Chris Paul. Also talks about how Kidd's recent problems might leave us looking for a PG.

Doing my share to get this to 10 pages or more...

This sh*t cut into my work time yesterday :D

I suspect more of the same today. Will have to allocate time slices for actual, legitimate work.

Why does everyone focus on the last year, and completely ignore that we can audition Lin for that last year for 2 full seasons while only paying him $5M?

Because it doesn't fit their argument.

So Jim Dolan's "basketball people" think Felton is every bit as good as Lin, huh?

One of these players will definitely be mediocre. One of these players is 24 years old with a great work ethic and has shown flashes of greatness.

The decision-making at the top of this organization has been so thoroughly awful for so long it's sad.
