He didn't feel the need to come into shape in his CONTRACT YEAR... so logically we can assume, that he's going to come to camp in shape when he just got paid? Uhhh... OK.

Logic, really? It's a guess. He was miserable after being traded and knows he will get KILLED in NY if he's fat not to mention he's coming on a team where Melo looks to be in tremendous shape and you know Amare and Chandler will be in shape.

I do not doubt this is not a guess.

Part of it is fat discrimination. Personally, I'm not a big fan of fat people, although I will give them a chance. Fat girls, though, are completely unacceptable and invisible to me unless they're making a genuine effort to change.

The other thing is that Felton simply just hasn't been good. People say that Lin is a fluke...well what exactly was Felton's one-month all-star run here?

Hallelujah. Now the Knicks won't have a bench with an average age of 40.

Stupid question, the word is that Lin wants to be in NY but is there any way Houston can revoke their offer or is that not possible because he signed the offer sheet?

The Knicks letting Lin walk for nothing is as unthinkable as Mitt Romney choosing Sarah Palin to be his running mate.

I dont mind Felton. I'm not gonna lie, I'd prefer Lin, but if we had to roll with Felton then so be it, its still a god team that will compete.

My only probelm is I still believe Lin is not good enough for the money he would get. If he came back, he should get the same pressure Melo gets from the fans. And if he doesn't produce, he better get heckled just like Melo does.

Before yesterday, Melo's stance on whether Lin was being matched by the FO was very negative. When asked whether he supported having Felton as his starting PG, he responded "what other choices do we have?" and that "Lin has to make the best decision for himself."

Late last night however, his entire tone changed. He said that he KNOWS that Dolan wants him back and that it was only a matter of sorting out the details of the contract.

What this suggests to me is that the mood in the FO has changed decisively in the past several days. Unless you're an irrational Melo hater who thinks he's just pulling things out of his ass to make himself look better, we can reasonably assume that Melo's been fed updates on the status of the situation and that his comments are therefore a reflection of the core of the organization itself.

Keep optimistic, my friends. I believe we're going to get this done.

That Nba_insider dude who was tweeting last night so much about Jeremy Lin returning to the Knicks has deleted his account.

You don't think he will be after seeing the media sh*t on Lin constantly through this whole debacle?

I don't think that would be a problem here. It's pretty much a given that he'll be high on the sh*t list if he takes all that money and ends up sucking.

YOu guys catch what fields said at the raptors press conference introducing him and lowry?

"Fields mentioning "team dynamic changing" last season which caused him to struggle. Lowry smirked because he knew Fields was referring to ball hog Melo."

^^from the raptors board...

Thinking Felton is better than Duhon and Billups doesn't mean you think he's better than Lin, especially when you can have them both

It makes sense to keep attacking teams with Lin and Felton all game. Do the right thing.

The dynamic would have been fine if he could hit a jumper
