That's like getting shot in the face over and over again.

My feelings exactly. Add: betrayed (by Dolan), confused (at Dolan), and skeptical.

Bulls will match a freaking backup for the same contract, but Knicks won't for Linsanity??

I mean, even if they think he sucks at basketball and has glass knees, wtf let him walk for nothing? Trade him for something damnit!

This is upsetting. I know this kid has holes in his game. I know he's going to be completely overpaid in his third year. Still, doesn't change the fact that I enjoyed rooting for this kid.

I just hope Dolan didn't do this out of spite. But my gut tells me that he did. He's just that type of idiot. Wish we didn't have this infant man-child as an owner.

Guarentee fans will start chanting Brooklyn. Yea Lin was overrated but the fans enjoyed chanting for him.

not unexpected at this point but an incredibly remarkably stupid decision.
they really are making it very hard to root for this team.

on the bright side, i doubt i will follow the team with the same enthusiasm for some time, which meanas i am saving several hundreds on tickets alone.

what idiots.

Yeah and even Beck is leaving wiggle room.

Anybody find it odd that this is happening so early?

Plenty of time to go.

I think they might want Houston to withdraw the offer sheet. Calculated bluff?

Small chance left. Don't give up complete hope until the last second. But it's looking awful.

Just an unacceptably atrocious decision and one that will haunt this franchise for a very long time.

you guys knew it was coming.

Lin screwing Dolan going back to HOU for more money + Felton trade (said he wouldnt accept trade if lin was matched) clearly shows Lin was a goner.

Better move for both sides IMO.

Not matching makes ZERO sense, but for the record, life isn't fair. Gotta keep moving.

And look at the payroll of New Jersey. Dolan is an AZZHOLE. I would have been his biggest fan had he resigned Lin, now it's just more of the same. Go Jersey...

I think you're clinging to straws here. Houston can't withdraw the offer sheet if it's signed.

Yes you fight on in life. But you don't have to drive down absolute dead ends either.

Don't do this to me. Been through it twice with LeBron and Melo and got burned both times. No hope. It's done.

When the Knicks go south this year....the chants of "We Want Lin" and "Fire Dolan" will echo from the rafters of MSG.....bank on it....

The worst thing about Dolan is he doesn't face his actions. He doesn't allow himself to be challenged. He doesn't own up to what he does. He just goes and hides in his ivory tower...
