Quoting Stephen A. Smith, huh?

Nobody ever even suggested that Lin was comparable to CP3.

You are starting to remind me of the lady who was r8ped and cried "N**********er" in the movie Rosewood.

Not even that. Unless CP3 takes the mini MLE. We can't even do a S&T.

Agreed. I think Yao would still be an all star right now if they still allowed him to.

With Lin being shipped and Melo running his mouth about CP3 in a few years you gotta believe these morons are trying to manufacture something. I HATE this organization.

I am one of the few here I guess who doesn't think this is necessarily a bad decision. Lin could make me and the Knicks look bad, but I don't think he was ever going to be an all star under Woodson. We are pretty set at the PG spot.

A lot of people here are overreacting to an extremely small sample size IMO. We will see I guess?

We are a better team now then we were when we walked off the court in Miami last year.
All-Time Draft

PG- Oscar Robertson/Bob Cousy
SG- Earl Monroe/James Harden/Dana Barros
SF- Billy Cunningham/Michael Finley/Chet Walker
PF- Elvin Hayes/Dolph Schayes/Tom Chambers/Danny Manning
C- Walt Bellamy/Neil Johnston/Darryl Dawkins

Can someone call in a bomb threat to the Knick summer league game, get Dolan isolated, throw him in a van and beat the snot out of him for a couple of hours? Much appreciated...

Gotta believe that Lin did some dirty dealing and if so, shame on him and the Rockets.

You still can't do this however -- if you're Dolan. Just can't do it.

This is like everybody losing. Life does sometimes come to that. It's unfortunate. All parties are probably worse off, except for the Rockets maybe if this doesn't stop them from getting Dwight.

How is it EVER going to be the right move to let an asset go for nothing? If he's good, we win. If he sucks, trade him or waive and stretch his contract. ZERO down side to matching.

Yeah a derivative suit is possible at least. Very tough to pull off however. But it's something that is within the scope of reasonable.

As long as its reasonable (and thus wouldn't be thrown out on a motion to dismiss) wouldn't it cost him millions in litigation? Any fan with one share of MSG prior to the announcement want to help out?
