This thing will stretch on through the regular season like Gallo/Nuggets. This place is going to be unreadable.

The ultimate trolling EVER would be Dolan to come out and match at the deadline, totally messing with Houston after they pissed him off with the contract terms changing.

The bullseye this idiotic move puts on the organization is going to be ridiculous. If the Knicks have a bad patch of games Melo and co will hear it.

A lot of people here are overreacting to an extremely small sample size IMO. We will see I guess?

We are a better team now then we were when we walked off the court in Miami last year.

It's not even about all that. Some of you still don't get the point, it's like 50 elephants in the room. That's how big it is. No other org would let dude just walk like that. The knicks are a joke.

Nate Taylor: James Dolan has left the arena. He slid out the backdoor. Team didn't make him available. Don't expect to see him for rest of the day.

You still can't do this however.

Just can't do it.

This is like everybody losing. Life does sometimes come to that. It's unfortunate. All parties are probably worse off, except for the Rockets maybe if this doesn't stop them from getting Dwight.

Meh, I don't think he was every coming back. I think the "we'll match any offer" message was put out so he WOULD try to get the best offer and the Knicks could have an excuse not to match to save face. I don't think we were ever bringing him back at all.

Yao Ming was only a money-making asset because when he was healthy there was a very strong argument for him being the most dominant and best player in the NBA. Lin during the Linsanity run didn't even have an argument of being a top 10 PG in the NBA. And when he returns to being a borderline NBA player you think China is going to support him? They stopped supporting Yi when it turned out he really sucks, same thing will happen with Lin.

You guys sound like all the whiny Mets fans who bitched and moaned about Reyes leaving. Turns out he's pretty mediocre too and severely overpaid.

Only the Knicks, lol. Only the Knicks would toss Linsanity into the trash for Raymond Felton. Unbelievable.

God is not going to take too kindly to this. Let's face it, Melo, JR, Woodson, Grunwald, and Dolan are all going to hell when they die.

Pragmatic post

Can't blame Lin and his agent for trying to get the most money they can. He's still very young, so it's not like he needs to take a pay cut to try and contend for a ring. It is what it is. PEACE.

I disagree. Lin is better off. So as Rockets. I can see Howard being interested in going there. And I am serious.

Only one explanation to this - Dolan acting like a baby again and/or Melo acting like a punk and wanted Lin out of his spot light.. This was not about money.. this was about personal vendettas they had against Lin.. its such a sad organization.
